Yes it is at its lowest point since Bengali takeover. 10 years ago too this whole filth was there. Sister raping her jija was also shown explicitly by ekta mata....but guess what? Udne ki aasha is not a Bengali remake ..it's ruling trp chart...and proving no need to have third wheel to run the show.

UKA is technically not a love story..its appeal is in the reasonably strong screenplay…. they will look to resolve issues from one point to another.. it’s basically Rishta repackaged in a way that appeals to audience who aren’t looking for deep conflicts but simple slice of life portrayal… where love is a subtext but not necessarily the main thrust of storytelling

Generally, once a couple is shown in love… the story always has limitations in how it can proceed… which is why love stories must have shorter shelf life…

Here, in Jhanak, after HA… every track has rrendered the male lead useless or stupid at key points and regressed the female lead characterisation… giving the character absolutely no sense of introspection or willpower to analyse or deal with the situation… by simply saying I love a person enough to move away is no love story.. To leave it to destiny is such a dampener but one Leena uses as it helps her to continue the base theme…Who is Arshi but the amount of importance Ani and J have given her is unbelievable
