Fabulous episode ... all that build up was for this climax!!!! (Pun not intended
)
Ronnie Neetu should be proud of Vikrant... what a child they have raised!!!
And we as audience should also collectively hail Vikrant Saluja (till he doesnt become bali ka bakra for ITV ratings
)
So all this time, what the writers did through the characters was to keep Vik in dark.... deliberately (which some called as dumb behaviour) and by rejecting all of Mannats proofs!!! because they knew Vikrant will react like this... they knew he will side with the truth even if its his beloved Chachu!!!
But all it took is some genuine pleading from Mannat to make him see the truth!!!
I mentioned the other day that Vik saw conviction in Mannats eyes to get his grey cells working.... today all he had to do is see the fear in Mannats eyes and probably the heart for him to put 2 and 2 together....
He hit first and asked questions later!!!!
And when the intended target was revealed!!! the shock!!!!
I personally wanted more... from both Vikrant and Mannat (Adnan and Ayesha)
Must say... good job Neetu... and only if you would have some trust in your upbringing... you may not worry!!!!
What a performance by Adnan.... this episode was resting on his shoulders and he delivered!!! more than the disgust at Bobby... his heartbreak and disbelief at knowing Ronnie was supporting this was so shocking and so brilliantly done!!!!
Mannat and Shalini both were equally surprised that Ronnie knew this and I felt Mannats brains already wondering why Ronnie would support this!!! Anyway she will investigate and will know soon!!!
Dadi was diabolical... doesnt leave one chance to bring down ARS...
Gagan was the only guy believable ... what an actor!!!! his disappointment at Ronnie seeped through his voice!!!
Puneet was interesting... he showed disgust and relief well when the truth came out... but also had a narrow outlook towards the situation... thinking only from his perspective... I liked how he stepped back when Mannat went towards Shalini
ARS/ Mona was good as always.... she quickly realised she had lost the battle!!! and tried to control but Vikrants "no auntie" was more than enough!!!! She showed disappointment and some guilt when Mannat pointed out the failed logic in Puneets ehsaan talk and when Vik was blasting all of them....
All this while she was on a high horse thinking she had won... and it fell down in one clean swoop!!!
I really really want to see one genuine reaction from her when she gets to know that it was Mannat who was the target!!!!
I absolutely did not like that they excused Malla in all this... maybe it has to do with the next track... they will keep her on 'trusting' side till then... just to spice things up. Also her BGM suggested she only said this just to be in Vikku good books
But people like me from 'lost' PTSD may not like the idea where Malla is on the same side!!!!
Mannat and Vikrant both are the product of their nurtures!!! and same can be said for Puneet and Malla!!! they are the only ones standing for truth... and while Malla Puneet can be equated with them to some degree... neither Malla nor Puneet have the guts or principles to give up their comforts for the altar of truth!!!
P.S. Beautiful beautiful framing of the 'farishta'... BKB is back with a bang!!!!
Vikrant has such a towering presence in the story that they had to revive him like this!
