Abhira may have been pregnant once, but she needs to connect with Pookie. I understand why she feels the need to do little things that make her feel like she is not just sitting idly watching Ruhi do everything a "mom" does. Giving up coffee, wearing weights makes her feel better. Kaveri seems to have forgotten that Abhira has undergone a pregnancy and childbirth and is familiar with what it entails. She's willing to do things to inconvenience herself now when she does not have to do so because for her its for the sake of her pookie.

Abhira is a really wonderful maa. Watching her with Daksh and how she handles Ruhi is evidence of how caring, considerate and wonderful she is. Kaveri hates Abhira for no real reason. I don't see why she is so anti-Abhira.

Ruhi, irrespective of surrogacy, would need to be a single mom and deal with being a widow. Her choice is to deal with it by lusting after her BIL, a married man. So her ghatiyapan is not a product of her losing Rohit. That's her innate personality- filthy.
