Gohar and Ameer jillani are really lucky

Usman mukhtar played the cupid between gohar and kubra and convinced them to take it forward

Ameer mom kinda understood they like each other and she officially took the rishta to Mawra

I don't know why there was no one who could have played the cupid between Ahna

Ahmed likes to keep everything low profile

Hence his wedding wasn't that hyped

I feel that Nashwa's character could have been written well. Ammar's character was written well but somehow, the reactions to Ammar's actions, kind of downplayed his crimes.
Nashwa knows about Bade Abbu's behavior towards Bisma and she knows what Ammar has done. But there is no visible discomfort on her face when she is around them.

I agree to what you're saying Sans. I didn't see the IV as I decided against seeing ivs of writer and actors while the show is live. Too many false and misleading narratives leading to heartbreak as a viewer. Their interpretation of their own writing and characters are so different from what they show that you start feeling gaslit. I did see clips of rabia's comments though about Yumna and Sajal.

Both Sajal and Yumna are brilliant actors and take their craft seriously. Both came from no acting or nepo background and are here only on the back of honest hard work. I love them both. I'm happy to enjoy double the fun with their projects while not needing to pit or put down one for the other. I'm glad there are two of them with their caliber instead of just one!

But honestly, Yumna looked like a 25-27 yr old. It was fine for a new lawyer. You do llb after undergraduate. Also, I love Sajal but Sajal even in dil wali Gali Mein didn't go without makeup. That's fine and a personal choice.

I heard that Sajal actually left bakhtawar shoot after a couple days because of the no make up requirement. Maybe she is conscious of that. Totally fine as each to their own. I mean it's a rumor that it was because of that. It could be something else like dates or something.

I'm pointing out the make up thing not to critique Sajal but because the requirement of Nashwa was such that a bareface was needed. No kajal and all. Most actresses are not comfortable due to the shame and criticism from people who expect them to have no pores, pigmentations or lines.

No one could have done this qej role better than Yumna.

Yumna is sooooo commendable and one of my top favorite just like Sania Saeed, Samiya mumtaz and Nadia jamil because just like them she can go fully without any makeup. Bakhtiyar is the proof. She has no issues. However, even for no makeup looks there is always a little bit of makeup. But whether it be DNUTN or inkar, Yumna isn't look conscious. It's secondary to her and that makes her relatable.

Even Yumna's fashion sense gets criticized by the so called fashion gurus and yes it's not as glam like Ayeza's who carries modest glam like a pro but Yumna's fashion is so relatable and achievable. It makes her real for that. She is not hyper aware of what is in or not. She goes with it.

Also, the Nameer - Yumna dynamic-chemistry was soo hot. They matched each other's energy. Mujhe koi age ka thought nahi aya. Yumna still looks youthful. Ha nahi lagta 22 but 25-27 toh bilkul lag ti hai. Even with Usama it was fine. It would have been great if Hamza Abbasi or sherry played him. An older experienced lawyer look would have been appreciated along with the acting chops to match Yumna's energy.

Btw, lots of new male upcoming actors are taking up the spotlight but the new lot of girls all look like Instagram filter models with no acting skills. So, even if Yumna is 50 or looks 50 I'd rather watch her over any 20-30 years old with no acting skills.

AB please Sajal and Yumna Stanz lerney mat ajana. Some them have made viewers and other people who love story, character and skill uncomfortable by bringing in their toxic fans war mentality. I really dispise our gens use of tech and apps to cause fanwar and obsessive dangerous shipping instead of using it genuinely to advocate for a responsible and diverse script and storytelling.

Fully agree Sans. Director needs to stand by writer and vice versa publicly even if they have private creative differences. There are enough problematic viewers especially the fake Social justice warriors and fake feminist who are all cringe hidden shippers (they can't hide well - they hide their feelings as successfully as a toddler hides from their parents by closing their eyes lol because no way you'd call Nashwa and beenish enablers while letting Burhan off the hook for taking an apparent criminal just for Nashwa and not even for a genuine reason. Yes, the story is about parenting and enabling and how it shape kids. It is about drugs and how it changes human psyche completely and the lack of understanding consequences. It is also about the use of power and how privilege with poor upbringing leads to self-destruction while also highlighting some amount of personal accountability regardless of the situation

No opinions on anyones comments on SM.. I've stayed clear from getting into anything and prefer that..... bas I liked Saqib's stand and end mein ake age shame and look shame karne ki zaroorat nahi thi RR and Interviewer ne.

Well, I can understand why a writer would be nitpicking as they want the actor that pura utar te hai on their vision..but there was no need to share that at all with the world.

Wasey why does Yumna always face this? No one else gets as much heat as she does. I see actresses older than her like Saba (brilliant actor) or mehwish not get this critiqued as much while playing 20 something years old (tumharey husn k naam and dayan).
