Kal I accidentally chanced upon an old clip from Apu di ka shaadi track and wahaan bhi Didi was ORDERING Ani not to attend Apu di ki shaadi but he was rebelling ki meri behen ki shaadi hai toh main toh jaunga, tum bhi chalo mere saath....then Didi was like mere STANDARD ki shaadi nahin hai toh main nahin jaa sakti and Ani easily was like achha ok your choice....so he was cool with a girl who was calling his Didi ki shaadi LOW STANDARD and phir bhi usi ladki ke saath reh raha tha.....this is how Didi has been normalized.....all her elitist behavior was brushed aside by Ani for so long....lol and for what? Badle mein na use khud koi respect/care milti thi Didi se phir bhi pada rehta tha is rishte mein....lol

Wohi toh....there is such a GLARING disconnect between Ani's values/personality and that of Didi....so many scenes we've been shown of her putting down Ani's loved ones, treating them in an inferior manner....but iske baad bhi we are force-fed the narrative via Ani only that "Arshi achhi ladki hai....PURANI Arshi se Ani sach mein pyar karta tha"

Ani JHEL raha hai is Chudail ko cuz he has no self-respect or ability to stand up for his self-worth in front of her....but narrative humein yeh dikhaya jaata hai as if he stayed with her for so long cuz of "purana pyar" or "soft corner" blah blah....lol oh yes, amazing soft corner for someone who constantly assassinates your character and tries to slap your beloved in front of you

Yeh dekho one more random clip showed up on YT for me....ismein Didi was offering money to Jhanak to leave after seeing lipstick ka nishaan on Ani's neck....and Jhanak Rani yahaan pe Kashmir Shaadi ka sacchi hone ka tashan maar rahi thi Didi ko
