Have you read "Piece by Piece" by MsWinifredQuale on AO3? It's a series of pure Irondad - Spiderson fluff and the whole thing is already written so the author adds new stories to the series very quickly (eg. she updated 56 pages worth just this morning). While I usually prefer a more competent Spider-man (this one babies him a little) it's a good read on tough days

Some of these I have read, and some I bookmarked to read after reading the synopsis, so not all of them are over 18k word limit for the challenge

I love it though It gets too funny sometimes especially with the weird phrases and expressions that the author uses sometimes

Mostly all Chinese historic fiction(palace/wuxia) starts off when FL is 15. That age was considered suitable in certain eras to enter as concubines. Authors who focus on romance usually drag the engagement to marriage 3 years to make it look romance(able) to readers.

When I first came across a drama where a selected concubine was asked what was her age and she said 15, I almost fell off the chair becuase emperor was already mid 30s or smth~ then I realized 15 is a legal age in that era.

This is the same China whose rule is not to show romance except holding hands in school dramas now

But uumm....my 7K just became 8K

The count was 7,881 pages actually and today I read two fanfictions - one of 214 pages and one of 259, so with that, the total is 8,354 pages now

I think I should take another break, will start reading on Saturday or Sunday

I don't think I have. I will read it after I finish this Harry Potter one that I picked
