Sneha is overrated and overhyped cuz she belongs to some sort of Gharana. If she would have won it would be a disaster, thank god public voted nicely.

I’m not a fan of Sneha either. But the genre of songs that she sings, she sings really well.

Amongst all the finalists, Chaitanya was most deserving. Shubhodeep had a slump in the middle but he was really good towards the beginning and the end.

To be honest, Manasi is decent too but nothing compared to Chaitanya and Shubhodeep and therefore it is very disappointing.

I’m not even gonna count Priyangshu. The dude did not even deserve to be a finalist.

Was Manasi a top 3 singer this season? No.

Does her winning make me want to watch the Finale, which I haven't done for Idol in years? No.

Am I happy that literally anyone other than Sneha "Nepo Baby" Shankar won? Absolutely.

I agree with this. I'm not upset but it is disappointing, albeit not surprising. Idol hasn't had the best contestant be the winner since Pavandeep won, and even that result made some people upset because they wanted Arundita to win. Manasi winning feels like Rishi Singh winning his season, since it was predictable. Shubhodeep was the clear best singer all season in my opinion, and that of my watch group as well. Chaitanya was top 3 worthy. But Manasi was the judges/Sony's choice and they've made it clear that they don't care what the people want anymore.

Chaitanya, the best? You crazy? He sounds the best just because his screams have echo and reverb added. Hear Manasi in Super Singer, where Nigam was the judge. Sneha Shankar got the correct position in the finale. Anirudh could have been brought up but I'll treatment. Priyangshu was just, idk, bad? Shubhajit was fine. Nothing too much. Soulful and deserving. And I would say that Indian audience is so hypocrite. When they repeat songs and guests each season they say change the songs. When they changed the songs and most of the guests this season, they were like the song choices are bad. Look no winner can be 100% audience favourite but Manasi led the fan polls. Also I saw people saying that Sneha had most stories in her Instagram account I was like neither do all people who vote use instagram nor do all people who post, vote. The finale was very nice with the balance of singing, comedy, dance and drama. For the people saying it "lackluster" or something else, I don't know how do they define a finale to be good. The editing was great, pyros were great, guests were relevant, songs were great. I don't know what else is demanded. Also the winner was great. The cults need to stop, let the winner enjoy instead of commenting on her posts undeserving or shit. Over and out.

BTW, the finale this time was so lackluster. Didn’t feel like a grand finale at all. Even those 90s special episodes from past seasons were way better.

I haven’t watched this season regularly. Found it underwhelming. Priyangshu and Miscmi loveyappa was cringe. Still, used to catch up on episodes whenever possible due to shreya. I lost interest when Mayuri got eliminated. For me, she was a sure fire finalist and potential winner.

Haven’t watched the finale ? Now that I know the results no thrill to view also. But how was it overall? Is it worth a watch? Did Shreya perform?
Anyways, one more season over. Glad that we have a female winner. Manushi is talented!
In this

season, overall, even the forum was not very active. Missed those endless discussions we used to have in the earlier seasons, esp II 12. Haven’t seen our regulars here for sometime.

Now, will there be the next season of Suoerstar Singer? Would love to see our earlier winners as captains for the kids.
