Probably taaki inmein se koi bhi Sid ke motives pe doubt na kare and Didi ko aur koi advice na de.....lol also taaki unko koi explanation na dena pade about their laadli doing live-in with another man....lol

They will magically reappear once Didi ko Sid se laat padegi and yeh dono apna bojh waapis Ani ke upar phenkne bhaagenge....lol

LOL first half of the Anishi scene had a lot of gol gol faltu talks....Didi ne as usual digging and poking around shuru kar di with her Q&A session trying to do a post-mortem of their rishta and who is to blame for its failure.....Ani was trying to balance between giving her non-committal polite responses, pacifying her ego by taking blame on himself or showing regret over rishta not working out and then SNAPPING angrily the moment she would degrade Jhanak.

But yes Ani summed it up well in that line when he said that woh aur Arshi ek dusre ko bardaasht nahin kar sakte isliye har baar ladna shuru kar dete hain.

Scene still didn't feel satisfying to me because it was just too disconnecting that Ani still wanted to be "friends" with someone whom he himself acknowledged he can't tolerate....kaunse purane rishte ke lihaaz se dosti bolna phir? And then same person in the next breath is demeaning his choice of Jhanak as someone jiska wajood nahin, haisiyat nahin blah blah....kaunsi dosti then, bhai? Again, Leena is really desperate trying to copy Ishti wala dynamic into this when Anishi have never had any basic friendship or understanding. Bas Ani ko degrade karne ke liye usko doormat bana dete hain Didi ke saamne that she can kick him when he tries to offer cordial "fraandship" to her.

It really wasn't clear in the scene if Ani was being extra cordial to get her to sign the papers or he was feeling some kind of latent guilt over the end of this rishta.....itna bhi goody goody banne ki zaroorat nahin after the smears Arshi has leveled on him without accepting her own actions.

He never pushed back on her EMA accusation today but otherwise itne time se he's been denying the dhoka accusation jab pehle bola....aaj he was just doing vague explanations of "andar kuch aur hota hai, bahar kuch aur" blah blah...shayad tumhein lagta hai main shaadi ke baad badal gaya....lol bhai kaunsi shaadi? Half-shaadi or yeh bacche ke liye ki hui majboori mein shaadi? Why is either shaadi being discussed like kuch normally hui to start some "happy post married life"?

This is where ITV ka current obsession with repeating Anupama ka "long term shaadi se divorce" trope leads to a mess....jin logon ki koi shaadi hi dhang se nahin dikhai story mein, woh lob bhi apne aap ko Anupama-Vanraj samajh ke aise baat kar rahe hain jaise 25 saal zindagi saath kaatne ke baad alag ho rahe ho

I know...everytime they use Ani to give Arshi some upperhand...kya zaroorat thi woh friends dialogue ki?? Only to give Arshi a scope to deny the friendship offer...jab ki it is already shown that Arshi is the desperate one. to ignite jealousy in Ani using Sid se rishta...for that she even consumed pills geenke...I would have bought the Ishti narrative of PL character if Arshi was written differently...Arshi ke liye they cannot run the same stance of ML for Ishti PL...

...but I didn't feel Ani was guilty for breaking off the rishta...today also I felt like he tried to play it safe so that Arshi doesn't backtrack...aise bol rahi hun kyunki the way Ani was about to lose control and then regained it given the demand of the situation...

....I still feel this restrained stance of Ani is maintained so that he can burst off once Arshi doesn't show up during divorce date...it's a recurring pattern...they keep Ani dumb and quiet against Arshi before a big blast..

...regarding him holdingvon to cordial friendship with Arshi....Jhanak will not tolerate it...again the difference in Arshi and Jhanak will be maintained and highlighted..Jhanak baar baar nahi puchhegi Arshi tumhari kaun lagti hain..do din dekhegi, teen din dekhegi...then she will retreat..Ani needs to be careful if he really doesn't wish to lose Jhanak...he cannot remain at ease thinking Runak is married and Jhanak kahi nahi jayegi usse chhodke..

Ani today was eager 🤩 to ask Arshi when she is marrying Sid so that she doesn’t back off from her plans & come back to his well settling plan with Jhanak

Talwar is still latkata on Ani’s head

So he made his intentions clear to Arshi ., seems like Arshi also has no intentions to come to Ani But they can flip her anytime saying I will still take my husband back

Don’t know why she wants a guy who doesn’t love her , who was with some other girl…

Ani also said today he & Arshi has self respect who after being with other partners will come & stay with each other again .. hope Arshi sticks to it ..

Ani made it clear so many times he’s with Jhanak & already they r progressing..🥰

& now if they make them Sep .. then it won’t make any sense

Salaa ye Vinayak hai kyu iss story me!! Vinayak equivalent was a strong character in Jol Nupur...but here I guess they have taken Guddi PL father characterisation...Srishti bhi satisfied beti bade aadmi ke sath live in kar rahi hai...r a bhai divorce leke shaadi karwane ki soch so that panchhee udna jaye!

Yes, I also don't think Ani was really guilty given the relief QUITE visible on his face once the Chudail had signed the papers....but still the dialogues in the first half mostly irritated me. And I anyways don't like seeing Ani mellow in front of this Chudail....it feels a further let down after we've been given moments like DAFAA HO JAAO YAHAAN se....lol but all cuz he now needs her to give him a divorce, he has to be restrained.....irritating hi hai. Because all this Chudail does is just abuse and scoff at him even if he is being polite for politeness sake.....mehh.

Baaki toh I'm not keeping high hopes of Ani's reaction to the divorce hearing waali ghosting...he has allowed Arshi for so long to put all blame for everything on him toh aage bhi kya hi bol lega? ....Makers ko apni laadli ko bas victimize karna hai and clean chit dena hai toh Didi will easily wiggle out of that also by playing dumb.

I was feeling bad mainly for Jhanak today....she genuinely looked afraid of getting comfortable with this idea of Ani being called her husband....Choton usko kuch zyada hi encourage kar raha hai ki no one can take your haq away from you now....lol bhai jo haq abhi tak usko officially mila bhi nahin, yeh log advance mein hi itna confidently boast kar rahe hain that no one can take that haq away jab khud ke haath mein kuch hai nahin

Jhanak ko haq jamaane ke liye kuch toh dena padega tangible....intangible cheezon se nahin lad paayegi woh with Didi being legal wife.

Ani thinks simply declaring ki woh Jhanak ke saath hai solves all matters

Ani ko bhi puchho why he wants to ADJUST with a girl he doesn't love? Puri duniya mein Arshi hi bachi hai jiske saath 1000 baar adjust karna hai for whatever lame reason?

In way it's good only that Didi is gonna land up in Ani's room again for that upcoming BTS scene....Jhanak agar thodi bahut relax bhi ho rahi hoti trying to feel hope about shaadi really happening toh Didi showing up in the room should serve as a cautious reminder for her.....even if Ani remains dumb only.

Aage drag karne ke liye yehi sab karenge I guess...whole family will coax Jhanak to relax and feel happy about the shaadi and woh kaafi time tak resist karegi but closer to the shaadi fully relax ho jaayegi just in time for the big jhatka over divorce not happening.

Aaj ke scene ke hisaab se toh Jhanak was simply pointing out ki high chances that Sirji will still be stuck being Didi ka legal pati even if he doesn't accept the rishta apni taraf se.....lol
