Maybe it would have gotten better if I’d stuck on. But I’m in my reading idgaf era rn so I’m over giving books that I don’t vibe with in the first few chapters a chance. There are so many good books out there better worth my time!

I ended up reading a different Draco/Hermione fanfiction while I was searching for the answers for the Hogwarts Championship gamesmiley37

I couldn't find the answer to the complicated question and to relax, I ended up reading that fanfiction and it was really goodsmiley36smiley20

I gotta find something to relax now, just finished a thriller and it’s got my adrenaline shot so high up, it’s well past midnight and I can’t sleep smiley29

You can start reading the genre which you like the most and I know your favourite genre is supernatural fiction. You can pick up fast paced supernatural love stories or supernatural thrillers. And don't pick up lengthy books. Once you think you're progressing with supernatural books, you can shift to another genre which may interest you. It can be psychological thriller or horror. I know you write stories on IF. And in order to a better writer, one needs to read books. If you read books, you'll be able to understand how to build suspense and create right atmosphere in stories. You can also understand how to show emotional turmoil of characters. So, reading books can be beneficial to you. You can start slow and read 5 pages a day.

haha yeah mera FF is like ITV ka script just dialogues 🤣 i even add disclaimer😅 yeah i do understand book reading can be a beneficial for writers will surely give it a try 😄

Lizzie, I've a question related to translated books. After finishing third book of the month (Riley Sager's Home Before Dark), I intend to read The Cat Who Saved the Library. I was eagerly waiting for this book. It got released five days ago. It's a translated Japanese book and it was written by Sosuke Natsukawa. The book was translated in English by a lady named Louis Heal Kawai. It's the sequel of The Cat Who Saved Books which is an absolutely amazing book. I can't tell you how much I like the book, The Cat Who Saved Books! It's my favourite book of 2024! Now I want to ask the question. Do we need to share additional information when it comes to translated books? Do we need to write anything more other than the name of book, the name of the author and the page numbers? Which additional information do we need to provide? I'm not talking about fan fictions and online novels. I'm asking about published books. The Cat Who Saved the Library is a published book and it's available on Amazon and Flipkart.

i can't believe it took me more than a week just to go through some 484 pages. The toxicity was putting me off sm. Finally DNFed 'The Prisoner Of Beauty' smiley11. Of all the things i hate in an ML, r**e is the top 1. I'm feeling pity for myself after reading this. Neither did i like the book even a bit of anything i read nor do i have the same excitement as before for the dramasmiley13

Hopefully, i'll be reading something light and idiotic to help myself reach 1k in the second half of the month smiley37

You can put down the name of the translator in addition to the author but it’s not a requirement as long as you put in all the other details

Okay, I'll do that. I'll write translator's name along with other information (the author's name, the book's name and the page count).
