Hello!!

I want to report an issue to the Mods & site development team pertaining to a glitch in sending Private Messages.

I am unable to freely send PMs to my buddies since last 5-6 days. The IF site only sends my 1-2 messages back to back & then the glitch happens stating that "subject required, message required" even tho both of them are already written & the message rmains as it is & it's not delivered to people. Despite refreshing & logging out & logging in so many times, the problems persists. And, I am only able to send next message after a long 6 hours, this is very time-consuming, tiresome & frustrating to the core.I waited for the the problem to be resolved on its own, but even after so many days, it's till troubling

I request site development team to kindly look into this matter & help me in resolving this issue as soon as possible.

however if you come across this error again, please share the screenshot as that would speed up the debugging process.

Most websites have a "Hide Password" or "Show Password" option. Is it possible to have this feature on IF as well? I don’t save passwords on my laptop/PC so while typing fast I type out wrong sometimes... while it’s not a necessity, it would certainly be helpful

there mighe be a possibility that, you would have exceeded your PM limit in 24 hours. Because there is PM limit till group Navigator. The required text is not a part of validation, it is simply to indicate that these fields are mandatory. Please check now and revert if issue still persists. NavigatoNavigator

Hi Vijay, please can you not limit the copy pasting feature even for dms and for posts thats not yet posted even for that matter FFE forum Fanfictions which are still on draft mode. Please look into this issue and also the highlight feature on the comments/posts has limited text colour options with No Black colour and other colours.

Just wanted to bring up a couple of requests with regards to the Fan Fiction Section:

1. Please can we have some more filters in the Fan Fiction Section, for example: Filter FFs based on shows. Currently we only have filters based on the completion status of the story and genre based.
2. Please can we have more genres in the section such as -- Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Supernatural, Mystery and a few more. May be we can use the list of genres from fanfiction.net.
3. Please can we have an option in the dropdown in the "My Fan Fictions" section for "All" so we can see all the FFs we've written under one page (completed and pending) and let that be the default? It would be really helpful. --- from the writer's perspective.

I am here to report couple of issues.

1. While creating a post if we have chosen a wrong forum and we want to copy the content before posting itself(thread has not been created yeat). The copied text shows "read more at....". The author of the post should have the option to copy contents from their own post.

2. Can PM be orgnaized with one thread per chat instead of so many messages as notifications.

3. Do we have option delete entire thread of pms? It is time consuming to delete message by message and pm also has a limit. We prefer deleting old threads than deleting one by one.

4. Report text can not be copied too. If for eg there are so many posts which are taking dig at fandoms then the report text will be same for all the reports.

But if i copy the text i get read more yet which is similar to issue #1.

5. Can we have more categories under report type like mocking, bullying etc. As that's the usual categories everyone will choose.

It's not just about this... we should have the option to delete PMs so that they are also removed from the recipient's inbox. Sometimes... a wrong message gets sent by mistake... so I feel there should be an option to unsend or delete itt
