Yes ,it is an open and shut case. Nothing seems logical for me for Burhan to take this case. I have always been telling, if Ammar goes to jail, Nashwa will automatically be free from this marriage. Court will give her the khula immediately. Infact he should try to put Ammar in jail. It's almost certain he is going to lose the case which he knows too. Why is he playing this gamble. He is not only going to lose his reputation, but he will lose the trust of all his relationships too. I just hope they don't show him doing some stupid deal with Bakhtiyar. Then I would say, I would lose all the respect for Burhan too. All the green flag thing which they showed for Burhan will be undone in these last few episodes

Burhan was never a green flag if we mix up his professional life.

Remember his reaction to maheen's case. He was a criminal lawyer who might have defended many criminals knowingly or unknowingly. He never backs out from cases despite getting death threat too. He sees a case as case by not thinking emotionally.

But all these doesn't justify him justifying ammar now. Because here he will think emotionally and defend a criminal for his selfish reasons. As you said he will loose my respect too. Nothing can justify this.

What a shame the drama missed a chance to redeem a rap*st and a murderer which they did try to and raised my hopes but last minute mukhar gaye. The moment he killed Asad, he lost all the chances of redemption. Ra*e toh phir can be argued and redeemed but taking one life that too of a man’s? No way….I will just have to satisfy my urge of watching rap*sts being glorified and redeemed by watching Bollywood classics like benaam baadshah. I highly recommend the movie where Juhi Chawla marries her rap*st and redeems him going through all the hardships of getting treated like sh*t by her rap*st instead of being guilty or whatever. Anil Kapoor was so hot in the movie…😍Even rap*sts deserve a chance to live, especially if they are hot like Ammar. Hum TV just destroyed their own show.

I hope there's a proper justification to satisfy all our queries n hope the justification isn't a lame excuse of freeing Nashwa, which doesn't even make any sense . Let's wait n watch.
