Gayatri was suffering from Depression and was under treatment . When her condition worsened she committed suicide. Parag then persuaded Khyati to marry him, while she was working as his secretary . There was no affair between Khyati’s and Parag . She shares how she struggled to win the love of Prem and Prarthana when they were tiny kids missing their mom Gayatri . When Gayatri died the real cause of death was not told to the little kids , hence they MU that Khyati was the reason .
