JUST IN - In a big blow to CSK's already shaky campaign, their skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad has been ruled out due to an elbow injury for the remainder of the season. Gaikwad suffered that injury while batting against the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati. And to fulfill the captaincy duties, the 43-year-young MS Dhoni is back in the leadership role for the yellow brigade. MSD last led CSK back in 2023, with the finale being his last game as the leader of the franchise. Now, fans hope his Midas touch can reignite CSK’s fading campaign as they languish second-to-the-bottom of the points table with just a solitary win out of five games.

Woahh that’s unexpected but not surprising really.

Rajat Patidar - We would have loved to chase, but the surface looks hard, we'll look to put up a good total and defend it. I always back my instincts, but I do plan as well. It's important to win home matches as well, important to have the momentum going. No changes for us.

Patidar says he would have bowled first too, but reckons the surface is hard and wants to put runs up on the board, and then defend. It is important to win home matches, he says, and they will try to do their best. Same side for RCB.

YOU DON'T GO AGAINST HIM. HE IS THE CHOOSEN ONE. If you want he will stay away but if you go against his wish this is what will happen.

Ask The saviour of Cricket for previous experiences. smiley37

Or watch the last ball celebrations of 2023 and listen to Ian Bishop.

This sounds really bad. It feels like Dhoni is vain enough to throw anyone out of the team who doesn’t listen to him.

who’s the saviour of cricket btw ?
