Jigar is liver vaise to... but often it is used to mean gut.. or rather 'gut feeling' smiley39

Literal meaning is liver!

Figuratively it used for heart. Like someone is a part of your heart & soul.

Also jigra/jigar means to have the guts. But I have never seen jigar used in the context of gut feeling
