StarPlus also gave them a tight ultimatum to fetch more TRPs, thus improving the lead-focused storyline nowadays.

the writing hasn’t ever justified that Ani loves Arshi… in the way he loves or fell in love with Jhanak… Using stray statements that narrative of flipper doesn’t get justified..I WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT ANI LOVES ARSHI OR THAT HE IS A FLIPPER. Ani after the tumour/HA track has chosen his lane… For me that lane was picked by a guy after coming to terms with his feelings for J as was confused before that about the force of his feelings for Jhanak. The narrative hasn’t given me any reason to think that he has wavered from that position and I will read an odd stray comment as MERE EXPEDIENCY AND LAZY WRITING TO FORCEFIT A NEW NARRATIVE not justified in the actual plot.

After watching the whole epi, I can clarify today's dialogues further...what Ani actually said was that ARSHI usse ek time pe pyar karti hai, par ab nahin karti ....then he continued ki "jab ek taraf se pyar na ho toh dusri taraf se bhi dheere dheere khatam hi ho jaata hai....aur maine kaafi time se Arshi se muh pher liya tha"

So now again today they basically gave Ani dialogues about how he stopped loving Arshi a long time back so she also fell out of love

Then he again repeated his pyar aur duty alag cheezein hain.

Jab itni candid convos ho hi rahi thi toh Jhanak ko yeh bhi puchh lena chahiye tha ki which DUTY was making him share a room with Arshi if he wasn't married to her? And agar muh pher liya tha toh baccha kahaan se aaya?.....cuz Ani toh kabhi khud se sochega nahin about the holes in his narrative.
