I have never been a fan of Akshara , atleast not before kasauli track. I could never connect to both Akshu nor Abhimanyu. But it's true that Akshara does get more criticism in this forum than she deserves (not blaming you, calling myself out too) We all are unhappy with the way her character was protected and written by the makers, and somewhere we feel she has wronged our respective favourites in the show.

When Akshara was Akshara Goenka and Birla she made sense and was not evil like a chudail. She had the humanity though she did stupid harkate and all.

She got the queen treatment but she herself wanted gareeb treatment and wanted one whom treated her as a baby machine. So she got the right partner in the end.
