It's possible the story is heading towards the point where they'll be asked to choose between Ruhi and the baby. This shameless Abhira will choose the kid, out of her own spite and insecurity.

it's funny these ppl think goenka's ne akshu ko trauma diya hai. Do they even how trauma looks like. In many families kids are forced to marry before 18. In many families kids are made to go through abuse. Goenka's kithne bhi bekar ho but they had gave enough freedom to ak. Agar real main aise family miltha toh akshu ka maryada hathya hotha. Akshu ne jo bhi suffer kiya it was all because of her decisions. Nobody forced her to leave GH.
Gen 4 reminds me of sridevi, urmila and anil kapoors movie. Where sridevi was behind money and ask her husband to marry urmila who loves him in return of money.
Later she realizes money was never important she lost a gen while searching for stone.
