Yes Ahad comes from a priviledged background and as much as he wants to, he will never be able to shrug it off. And I don't think he is trying to shrug it off as well, in fact I feel he deliberately tries to stay away from too much media and spotlight partly because of his core nature (he does come across as reticient from some of his interviews) and partly because he wants to carve his own niche and fine-tune his craft as an artist.
And Bilal ki to kya hi baat karein, jab screen par aata hai to ek smile apne aap le aata hai...
Watching Ahad and Bilal perform onscreen is like therapy, which I didn't even know I needed...

It’s true he acknowledged his dad’s help in getting his foot into the industry but he also subtly pointed out how people calling him nepo baby don’t understand the behind the scenes and how ultimately it’s the actor who has to earn it. He isn’t self aware of his privilege of getting to take a sabbatical and catch up right from where he left which the outsiders like Bilal and Wahaj cannot afford. He says he is lucky to get these plum scripts but he makes it sound like it’s because of his talent. Industry talented logon se bhari pari hai bhai. Nepotism works at different levels, from getting the best scripts to best directors to best production houses to best co actors to best promotions to I mean you name it and they have it all. While the likes of Bilal have to slog it out playing the side roles to supporting roles to what not. Ahad was able to get an actress of Sajal’s stature to play a supporting role in Ye Mera Dil. You think Bilal can? For ex, In pyar ke sadqe and Kuch Ankahi the FLs got plummier roles than him, despite his extraordinary talent and ability to shoulder a story on his own.
the amazing acting in all serials in a long long time. I had no anxiety, or felt anxious and scare what will come in the next episode. I had no need to bash TalRosh, even though some wanted to and did bash my Talha (Sravz) 
I know some will wish for season 2, I never felt a need cause I always felt is good to go on a high, then mess with perfection until now cause I was caught up in emotions 
. Now my better sense have prevail, please no season 2, I rather see Ahad & Dananeer in another show together.
