I have a feeling either the surrogacy baby will not survive (Dadisa has been saying this baby is bad luck and saying to abort and I think that might be for a reason), or Abhira will take the baby and leave. Imo surrogacy baby will not survive, Ruhi will miscarriage, Abhira will be blamed and will leave PH and find out she’s pregnant and won’t tell Armaan abt her pregnancy. She’ll raise their kid alone. That way there is only 2 main kids post leap - Daksh will consider Armaan papa. Abhira will raise Abhimaan’s daughter. Since Abhira is attached to Daksh she would not want to take Armaan away from him and that’ll be the main conflict for abhimaan’s reunion post leap..

Since last gen they showed FL married to someone else.. this gen they might not repeat that and show ML married to someone else instead.

It was Abhira s entry in P fam that started the story . It is Abhira, because of whom most of Poddar family members now have a career and a voice.

It was Abhira IR that constitute major chunk of Gen 4' initial storyline( we will ignore the bad conclusion they gave. )

Also, her reaction to Ruhi-Armaan constituted another chunk .

She actually has the most significance on the storyline. It's just that now they have stopped giving importance to her trauma because she is supposed to Mahaan Bahu.

But her character is certainly more than just a part of lead couple.

Her career has also been one of the core narrative of Gen 4.

None of the major plots point of Gen 4 could have happened without her.

I never said she’s not a major part of the show—she was. But now she’s being reduced to just another background character. Even her dialogues have become cringe-worthy. Take yesterday’s episode for example—the only moment that genuinely moved me was when she hugged Shivani and cried. Even today, when she was crying for Armaan, I felt nothing.

I’m not questioning Sam’s acting—she’s good. But as the show progresses, she’s being used less and less. She was the one who started it all, yet now she’s being pushed to the sidelines. And yes, I get that Armaan has his own story too, but even before the Shivani-Armaan-Vidya track began, Abhira’s role was already being diminished. Her perspective and journey are completely ignored, like they don’t even matter—even though she’s the current legacy lead.

Abhira had so much potential, but the writers just aren’t using it anymore. So honestly, most of the blame falls on them.

As if they care for Anupama show lmao. Blaming horrible writing on Anupama is hilarious .. they treated MaAn horrible, didn’t even give them a closure and abruptly took a GL and you think DKP is compromising on Rishta for Anupama?

The only show to give DKP and Star its revenue for 4+ yrs straight and over 5+ TVR (which Star themselves promoted) after so long and yet DKP/star couldn’t take the cast abroad for a shoot that involved an America track for 6+ months.. Anupama is DKP/Star’s cash cow for almost 5+, single-handedly giving them revenue yet the show isn’t treated half decently or given proper outdoor shooting or good styling.. forget outdoor shooting they didn’t even take MaAn for a proper honeymoon.. Mumbai ke beach main nipta diya. The monetary gains Anupama made for DKP and channel, the recognition it brought for channel, the ground level popularity it got (see the craze Rupali enjoys ground level when she goes to events, there are over 10K ppl who come to see the anupama), the ground & international level popularity the couple MaAn brought for DKP and channel, they should be eternally thankful to that show & should have put them on a pedestal and should have treated that show better but DKP just took writing for granted and churned absolute nonsense in the name of GL knowing ppl will still tune in to watch with rupali as the face… Rishta still gets better treatment than Anupama.

@bold : I second that!! I started watching the show only coz of Abhira, then after Ropu Armaan!! After their wedding completely ruined! They made her doormat and baby sitter for everyone! Sam has lot of potential, they are not utilizing her properly!

I am saying that since Anupamaa's characterisation resonates with their target audience, they are imbibing some of those qualities in Abhira as well. Simple!

Anupama’s target audience and rishta’s target audience isn’t the same.. DKP is just lazy and doesn’t care anymore. Simple!

I know the TG is not the same. I am only talking about the main character. Simple!

Sam, ropu, garvita...noone wants rumaal bs again. They all want to see the progression of their characters as strong and emotionally independent ones who don't get manupulated. But do writers care? NO...poor talented actrors are stucked with a shitty script.
