She noticed something troubling him and came to speak with him and heard what he said and also wiped his tears and spoke to him. And she is very clear on not wanting to move on with him and she isn't giving him any idea of her softening towards him. he doesn’t need to see it .:but as an audience I want to see it ..that she feels torn between maintaining a distance and wanting to be there for him, hug him and kiss his tears away …I mean I want to see her break a bit seeing this big brave man that she’s known going to pieces in front of her …it was a very good scene ..but a little more of her inner conflict would’ve made it even more beautiful

Maybe perspective differs because what I saw, I felt was inline or maybe I am a bit too partial towards Roshi
