Well... They made him call the police, come to Ahuja house... Could've made him say he is Virat, and accuse Manvi of the things she did, which can put her in the backfoot and make her blurt out what she wanted to do - which is what they were expecting her to do at mehndi. She can be arrested... she can jump jail / bailed out (by Rajeev)... and both / Rajeev by himself can do things - make it one long sequence - not 4/5 2 ep long attacks and get to the end of it.

PS: acc to iwm article, Virat saves his family, has an emotional reunion, Manvi and Rajeev run away. Sounds true and if so, "plan" gaya tel ke saath saath rai aur jeera lene. Another plan that doesn't match the effort / outcome happens through luck. [Mujpe ek ehsaan karo... aage se koi bebuniyaad aur vichitra plan matt karo. ] Dont know how many changes the writers have made post leap - should be at least a dozen.

Night.. Bhavani's bedroom is quite good these days. Ammu unable to sleep... worried something will go wrong... Rajeev is silent (since holi ... should've been ajmer)... Nothing during Mehndi... its odd.

Rajeev messing up with the wires again...

Calls Bhavani... Ammu asks her to attend... Rajeev... wants to speak to Ammu... Rajeev knows Ammu is not in London... Ammu picks up... this time I will kill your family... Come to the window... will show you someone... Rajeev (dont know where he is but mock bomb)...

Ammu calls up Virat... Tells Bhavani she will bring her family here... Messages Virat... runs up the stairs...

Dragging it will be better in cvs' minds. The presence of police is mainly useless in Indian shows and movies. Police come at the end, when everything is over or are shown bungling and careless, so villians can escape (especially in kmtmg). Of course, if the hero is a police officer, they have to show he wins in end, but generally police are shown to not take concrete and decisive actions.

But the same police was following amu in 10cr case also running behind of amu becz of one phone call from V but are unable to trace rajeev

Some show are following law and order in show even after calling commissioner first they were told to file FIR

Even when they wanted tara to be caught they showed she is carrying amu aadhar and other document kaun itna stupid honga to carry those things in purse.Same location mein new character introduce and make someone caught.Money saver PH don't care for anyone.
