On the flip side, SRH began the season with a bang, scoring a record 286 in their opener, but have since faltered, unable to surpass 200 in their last two games. Their bowling, too, led by captain Pat Cummins and local star Mohammed Shami, has failed to defend totals. Bigger question remains: Will Rahane and Cummins rework the playing XI?

The pressure will be on the defending champions to come out fighting with a strong performance in front of a home crowd. Considering their hammering defeat in the previous game, the KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane will want to bounce back in fine fashion.

SRH have a fairly solid side and changes from their end might not be on the cards. The franchise can be expected to retain the same playing XI. But on the off chance, they could consider bringing in Sachin Baby to the side to boost the batting order with more experience, considering that Abhinav Manohar failed to fire.

The availability of Anrich Nortje still remains a mystery for the Knight Riders. Should he be available it would be a big boost the their pace-attack considering Spencer Johnson has been fairly expensive in his first few games of the season.
