Thanks dear! I have become so much more comfortable with my South Asian roots after moving to US and interacting with people from so many different backgrounds at work and in my local community! When I interact with people from other backgrounds and ethnicities, I realize as South Asians, we can also bring so much richness to conversations... that's one thing I will always credit US for, interacting with folks from different cultures has given me so much confidence and assurance in my own culture... :)

But yeah you said it right, one really has to push themselves to build and sustain genuine friendships here, otherwise people are on their own and busy in their lives... :(

I so look fwd to staying connected with many of you, even beyond MSM... am sure we'll all keep coming back to India Forums in some form or fashion... :)

It's so nice to see you bearing flag for us South Asians there. I know, life can be extremely monotonous there, especially because you don't really have anyone to interact, people are on their own.

But good, that you are connected with us. And we shall continue staying connected. Though this and other shows.

And now Dananeer's latest post is only going to increase anticipation about what's gonna happen next in Talha and Roshi's married lives...

And if HUM releases a good promo for next week, then audience will go bonkers... smiley37smiley37smiley37

Ahad and Dananeer have been criticised by Something Haute till the previous week for having very low chemistry. Now is the moment that they can showcase what they have in their kitty and what sort of crackling chemistry they can portray on screen.

I had a two months stay in the UAE recently, and though they're Asians like us, but is filled with heterogeneous population. And mostly everyone keeps to themselves. You need to have your circle of people to interact, otherwise nobody is even looking at you. Then is when I realised how important it is to bring forward our culture too, and it feels great to find people knowing our rich culture.

So I totally understand what you meant and I totally agree.

Tell me something, jab Talha ne Shariq ko aghwa kara liya tha, he knew wo shaadi honi nahi hai... And he probably had a pact with Dadajaan...

Toh he should be knowing ki dulha toh usi ko banna hai. Phir naya suit kyu nahi banwaya?smiley39Naya suit bhi banwana chahiye tha aur ek achhi si tie bhi... Thoda toh Walime ke look se different hota. Of course I didn't expect him to wear a sherwani to Roshi's barat.

Tab toh pakka begaani shaadi mein Abdullah deewana lagta.smiley37

Lekin jab usne apni shaadi plan kar hi Li thi toh naye kapde khareedte huye aata.

Or he probably didn't want anyone to know that iss arranged marriage ko usi ne arrange kiya tha...smiley37

Wait what?? Something Haute thinks Ahad and Dananeer have low chemistry... smiley7smiley7something's gotta be seriously wrong with Something Haute... smiley24smiley24

You want to point flaws in attention to detail, direction, editing, and continuity of scenes you can do that (because we all know there were gaps in those areas ... but saying Ahad and Dananeer have low chemistry is something that does not fly by audience... especially since both Aamna and Hassan have praised Dananeer and Ahad chemistry in their previous reviews of the show...

I don't want to put undue pressure on Ahad and Dananeer since the show has already been shot, hopefully they will do their best in the last few episodes as well... smiley42smiley42

Agar woh zyaada tayyari karke jaata to sabse pehle uske abbajaan ko shaq ho jaata... aur woh kehte mera beta sach mein pagla gaya hai...

Roshi ke pyaar mein saari harkatein kar raha hai... uski shaadi mein jaane ke liye tayyar ho gaya, naya suit bhi banwaa liya... ye ho kya raha hai... smiley29smiley29

That's why Talha decided to be very low key (almost disinterested) till he reached the wedding venue, but once he was there his entire body language was so confident like he had everything under control and things were happening as per his and Dadajaan's plan... smiley23smiley23

Haan yaar, and ye baat mujhe kabhi samajh nahi aayi... South Asia ke bahar we actually are more hesitant to interact with people from our own communities and can sometimes have better friendships with people from other cultures...

And so it's all the more important to find and nurture a trusted group of friends and well wishers who can be on your speed dial... :) they will ensure your peace of mind and sanity during your lows...
