Talha had always wished someone better than him for Roshi and wished her well. Nevertheless, when he learned that Roshi chose her abuser over him, the ground beneath him trembled, and that harsh reality hit him hard. Talha's love for Roshi is self-sacrificing & infinite. Roshi had discreetly put two choices in front of Talha: either marry her or she would marry Shariq. Talha resisted as much as he could, but when he realized Roshi's resolve was stronger than his, he gave in and chose “their” happiness.

But at some point in the near future, I want Talha to reprimand her for attempting a near suicidal decision of marrying Shariq despite knowing what kinda fellow he is. And she should finally have an outburst about the blackmail and keeping him in loop ki uski biwi, uski izzat, uski zimmedari, uski sharik-e-hayaat kis majboori mein thi. And he has to work upon saving her dignity before Shariq or his friend maligns it.

Yeah... and had Roshi chosen anyone other than Shariq, Talha would have stepped back and simply wished her well and kept her thoughts buried inside his heart and went on with his predictable, colorless life... carrying out his duties happily as a doting son and father....

Remember in the office scene before he saw Shariq with Roshi, he was repenting his decision that he had lost Roshi, but still wished her well in life...

It's only when he realized that Roshi was headstrong on going ahead with marrying Shariq, this silent lover moved boulders to salvage the situation... :)

Hona bhi yahi chahiye. If he wants Roshi to be Roshi he has to love Roshi the way Roshi is... Bina soche samjhe sab bol daalo. He's doing the same. And making sure that she comes to believe that he's loving her just the way she wanted and even more.

I have also an idea, though they will never show it in the show, but agar AU mein agar Talha Roshi sach mein hote, I feel Talha would turn out to be a more touch and feel kinda guy. Who has got many physical gestures. Holding hands, hugging, probably stealing a kiss here and there, and making sure to say words that can make her blush khade khade.

He's an expressive lover I believe.

And the best part is, Talha is aware of Roshi's mood and her reaction😂 I loved how he peeks in to check the vibes before entering the room. He casually walks in and sits on the bed trying to lighten up her mood, very well aware of her outburst, questions etc. That smile on Talha’s face when Roshi storms out, was more like “I knew you would run away to Mohid’s room, I know you so well Roshi”🥰😍
