Sadly they will never show Ani or anyone else calling this out....that Arshi has just treated him like some kind of naukar/driver who should be following her orders ki pick up karo, drop karo, mujhe ghumaane lekar jaao blah blah

In Leena-verse, "bahut saalon ka relationship" means pick up/drop service only as per all the characters in this show

Arey that time Ani didn't know any better....usko sach mein lagta tha relationship is just pick up/drop service for his celebrity girlfriend .....woh toh Jhanak se milne ke baad he started expecting more from love and relationships....warna as per Leena logic, Ani also considered doing pick up/drop service for Arshi as "lowe"

Ani ke liye sabse badi zillat ki baat hai yeh that they are still trying to portray Arshi as his "first lowe" in the story

Leena ki laadli ko prop up karne ke liye Ani ko allowed hi nahin hai to reflect on the fact that there is no comparison between what he feels for Jhanak v/s whatever generic dating he was doing with Arshi......lol

And sach mein kya kamaal "bahut saalon ka rishta" tha jismein dono ko hi koi need nahin feel hui of intimacy .....live-in karke in same room bhi bas pick up/drop service hi kar rahe the until Didi decided to rape Ani to get baccha.....lol

Room waale scene mein they were keeping him silent when Didi was mocking him ki tum "I love you Jhanak" bolke aaye ho jail se....they were busier giving dialogues to nepo kid Mimi instead .....and baaki Didi just going on talking her filler bakwaas ki tum Jhanak se pyar karte ho toh main is baat ki sazaa dungi Jhanak ko.....they are still not showing Ani reacting much even to Arshi making such open threats

Arey woh room mein confess bhi karta ki he loves Jhanak toh bhi all these people already know na.....they don't acknowledge it even if he says it.....it's pointless at this point to even say it out loud. His dialogues should be more about why he can't stand to be with Arshi after what all she's doing against Jhanak....but woh bhi jaanboojh ke nahin de rahe Ani ko to keep dragging and rinse/repeat.
