Her last best efforts were seen in 2015 and then I don’t know what happened. She was never the same again. Her career completely dwindled after that. It still doesn’t make sense to me because she was on such a career high prior to that. She wasted all of 2016. I wonder if the scripts she was given were so bad that she gave up on having any releases that year. I guess Alia was getting the best scripts like Kapoor and Sons. Udta Punjab, Raazi. Then in 2017 she packed her bags and head to Hollywood giving a low tier performance in XXX Xander cage. The phase post her trip to Hollywood has been shockingly disappointing. I don’t think her hearts in it.

The likes of her are in it purely for the fame, not because they love the craft. The moment attention starts shifting to someone younger, they struggle to keep up. All the so-called praise for their acting fades once the shine wears off.

I am not her fan but it will be too harsh to judge her gor her looks and sartorial picks at this juncture.

She is still a nurturing mother, still in her postpartum phase and it is heartening to see her not hurrying to lose pregnancy weight gain ( tall women seldom gain too much weight during pregnancy though).

However, her sartorial pick at Sabyasachi's event still gives me a nightmare..

oh so you are talking about my comment on salman and rashmika😂 Salman is 60 and Rashmika is 20 something. you can not argue this with 1-2 year age gap or even 9 year age gap like Ranbir-Alia. they are babies in front of Salman.

I‘m in no way aligning to the character portray some like to give to Deepika… some here just seem utterly biased against her.

Undoubtedly she is a good actress giving a distinct personality to the characters she chose to enact in Indian Cinema.

To me, she seems to be a quite strong and independent woman (rare in Indian Cinema).
