Jhanak is NOT at all a female lead. I have seen female leads who only married once and never even thought about any other guy nor they let their husbands go and live with some random woman.

I have seen those female leads too who slept with PLs just to take revenge from the MLs.

I have seen female leads who ....exactly like jhanak rejected the hero MULTIPLE times and faked "moving on" with someone else ...still came running back and slapping the so called bit** Pls for taking advantage of the vulnerability of the hero.

But jhanak is something else....she says she loves Ani and claims that he's her mann ka pati but refuse to take responsibility of her MISTAKES. That what she did. How her rejection spoiled the life of 3 people....yes including arshi. Ab ro rahi hai ki meri life baarbad hai....uhhh yeah honey coz u let that baarbadi happen when u faked your death. U don't want to give azaadi to both ani as well as Arshi....isliye khud jail main kaid ho.

She thought by allowing her husband to be with someone else she could avoid the home breaker tag...now see...home breaker tag to gaya hi nahi, upar se ab dusri aurat ka tag lag gaya hai...if she didn't let go off Ani, she would have bore only one tag and at least be respected as a wife in society..I don't know vow Leena tries to portray Jhanak as...kyunki she is definitely not a strong person...even if I accept that chalo she has foregone her pati as she could never believe fully that she will be accepted as Ani's wife by his family...fine...but she never stood up for her own self also! Kuchh nahi karna hai iss ladki...bas sab kuchh bhawan bharose...in early episodes, Ani once accused her that she doesn't want to work hard to achieve goals in life ..that time I was angry on Ani that how could he say so after seeing what she has been through ..but now I feel he assessed her 100% correct..

Haha yes I remember thinking the same at that time ki Ani was being too callous with her and not understanding that her life trauma is making her lack the drive to do something in life but over time, Ani’s statement has borne out true because Leena has shown Jhanak mostly aimless and without any motivation to build her life independently. She just mouths random dialogues but never does anything to achieve it and gives attitude to Ani for trying to generally also help her. lol
