Would we expect the same from Vikrant to deal everything on his own once his trauma starts getting revealed? Guess not, then we want Mannat to be there for Vikrant. This is so confusing how female characters should deal with everything on their own but for male characters the rules change

Vikrant so far is shown as a good normal male who supports right and feels connected to Mannat and wants to be there for her. This is such a refreshing change from pendulum males who apologize after every incident and keep repeating the same mistake

I think this is a spillover from you-know-what.

What difference would it have made for Ayesha as an actor if she had to do the same thing? here, they are building her up slowly. If you notice, she is losing her chirpy self, which comes out now only with Vikrant.

She is able to stand up for other people , like she fought with those Gundas during the party Malla threw for her.

But she makes excuses when people are mean to her. With Malla's behaviour, she feels hurt but is not voicing it yet.

It is high time she began to answer back to people. And Ayesha has internalised Mannat to the extent that it is possible to be assertive without summoning her previous character in her.

So Vikrant is not only her soul mate (I love the idea somehow), but he is also giving her strength to face challenges in life.

And it is going to be vice versa soon when he knows the truth of his family and she will be his comfort and strength. That is an ideal relationship. Both are each other's strength.

So is he going to blindly support her in Shalini's case? It may take time. Bobbie is his father's brother. And I think that is also good for his character. He can't be seen as supporting her without proof.

I think Shalini might back out in front of everybody after confiding in Mannat, and Mannat will have to prove Bobbie's guilt.

And of course, Mannat will stand up against ARS, which is what we are waiting for.

Regarding Ekta, however much we deride for her regressive shows, have to admit, every track, twist and turn in the shows today has been done first, and years ago in her shows...

i don't watch any of her shows in recent times, but I do admire her.

Yes, showing Vikrant thinking through before blindly supporting Mannat would go with his character and would also show that he doesn't believe in anything anyone says including Mannat. This will cement his character for future tracks where he has to support Mannat against his family.

I have only started watching ITV in pandemic. So caught up on lost and Katha and then watch 2 of Ektas previous shows... renowned ones. Not dhoom tanana ones

To me the story has to offer something new or I won't watch.

I was trying hard to not bring up previous references... but I loved Sai and Viaan .... little more than their counterparts .. one of the reason why I manifested for this pairing as actors ...

In lost story wise all 3 are important, but MLs decisions are the driving force and in Katha... it's Viaans transformation is what is important... a difference in how the story is written and characters are treated and how the leads are relevant to each other.

Word, she was the queen of ITV and every track, scenes , shows are copied to date by makers without any creativity calling it unique 😜

There was a rumor that Ayesha and Adnan are going to paired up for an MV ..I think December 2023 mein aaya thaa this news.. I was so excited about it..but nahi mila..isliye jab mannat ka news aaya I refused to believe it until Adnan revealed it in one of his insta live 😍❤😭😭
