Watched today's episode, it was good and fast paced (but didn't look rushed) it was a purely tejneil episode and we saw the the tejneil banter which was there in the initial episodes. The chavans are really getting on my nerves of how they're treating vedant for such a piece of sweet. I'm glad that they have not turned aditi comical instead she is the only person with some mind in the entire household. Neil looked tooooo cute today (I'm biased for neil).

Same but also felt bad when teju rejected him. His tears I felt so bad when he was saying that he will change himself for her 😔

I disagree with people who think neil is just some creepy obsessive lover. He has a voice of reason and can really get his points without being very aggressive and knows how to handle the situation. Like today he stood his ground when teju was not letting him speak. So I find him to be a really sensible guy. The situation both teju and neil rn are isn't favouring them and that's why they have conflicts.

True he isn't an obsessive lover but since he is an introvert n shy guy so him fighting for his love is coming out as desperate attempt . But he is sensible enough to hold his grounds .

Anupamaa has always been Anupamaa’s story— not Anuj’s, not Vanraj’s. Sure, they were important, but just like the original Bengali show Sreemoyee (which ended a long time ago), Anupamaa should have wrapped up too. But at the core, it was still her story I'm not saying to Boost Rupali ganguli ego , she isn't my friend neither I like her. I mean, when Anupamaa got stabbed, people on Reddit and Instagram posted grandmas! were crying for upma. Did you see anyone crying like that over Anuj or Vanraj? Exactly.

After the leap, when Anuj "died," Shahi tried something new. He brought in the Khotaris and experimented with Rahi and Prem, hoping to recreate the magic of Naira and Kartik from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. But it flopped— leads flopped hard. Shahi realized the show still needed a strong family around Anupamaa to give kalesh, even if they faded into the background eventually.

Shahi has introduced over 150 new characters in Anupamaa, all just to keep Anupamaa in the spotlight. Even with the Khotaris, Anupamaa still takes up most of the screen time. After her, the only other character who gets some attention is Moti Baa, because they need to show the usual Anupamaa vs. Moti Baa drama and, of course, Anupamaa’s endless lectures.

The actual leads— nd Parag and the other Khotaris—are barely getting any importance. When the Khotaris first entered, Parag’s character had some focus, but now his screen time is shrinking fast. It’s the same pattern we saw with Manish Goenka in rishta—starting strong but fading into the background. And, the Khotaris are heading in the same direction.

And the drop in trp isn’t because Anuj or Vanraj left. It’s because the show has been dragged on for too long. Every ITV show is struggling because of stretched plots. Rishta should have ended ages ago. Ghum should have wrapped up with its original cast Ghum 1, Anupama should have ended too. People are just tired of watching the same recycled tropes— contract marriages, marriages of convenience, traingle plots— it’s all getting repetitive.

Even the new shows except for uka aren't getting any groundbreaking trps so we have to agree that the era of tv has started to decline post covid and is slipping year by year. There are ofc fans of anupamaa and they're are the only ones jinke wajah se show is surviving but let me tell you anupamaa as a character was good to gain an audience but not enough to keep the audience hooked. Once anuj came they started getting good trps because I've seen women around me going gaga over how anuj worshipped the ground anupamaa walked on. And the love they had for anupamaa started to shift to anuj so when anupamaa started making anuj suffer because of her shah obsession people were really pissed off and that's why they've kept the character's ending open so that whenever there is no scope for writing they can add anuj into it.

And tbh I don't think there's a short shot formula for what's gonna get trp. When jaadu had a good opening trp people all over the internet were like this show is gonna work because it has the recipe for a good popular show. Two weeks into it and it started to decline (there can be numerous reasons) so no one knows what's gonna work for tv not even the makers. Ps I don't think we need to have a whole living room drama for every show some shows survive on good love stories as well
