Gen 1 was about akshara naitik & small naksh for 5 years after that it was about grown up naksh & his issues Along with the teenage naira but toxicity in rishta started since gen 2 which is only increasing since then

@bold These series of divorce, baby swap, remarriage, FL getting blamed for someone's death by her husband and in-laws, worked for Gen 2 only as it was all new that time, Kaira's story developed in 3 years before introducing a child in their equation. Now it's all repetitive and stale, won't work for Gen 4. Gen 2 fans decided a mega trend against creatives when they got to know Gayu (Naira's cousin) who was in love with Kartik, is going to be surrogate of their child. This ek hazaron main meri behna becoming surrogate khichdi had been brewing in writers mind from Gen 2, the only difference is that time they couldn't execute this brilliant idea, this time she will. The great idea was used for yrkkh spin off, yrhpk, where Kuhu became a surrogate but Kuhu always treated Abhir as her bro. Here Ruhi has history of being obsessed with Armaan. It's cringe af.

Gayu atleast never saw Kartik as more than a friend from the moment she found out he and Naira were in love. She was a great sister to Naira too until the last track before Naira’s death and she literally want mad because of guilt of not patching up with Naira before her death. Ruhi could never be half the woman Gayu was.

I agree with you . If you want to show toxicity keep it restricted to that person. And don't whitewash that person like she is genuine. The mil is negative she doesn't even try to be positive. And that is what i like about that show. It is progressive is writing.

And even though I loved the character of kuhu it was quite vibrant. And I never liked mishti at all. But they had completely made her character negative in that track . But it suited her bcz she was actually ignored acc to her story. She was ignored in her house and mishti was clearly the fav. Which I personally never liked. There was so much favoritism for mishti. But where if they bring that it is going to be more toxic considering ruhi's previous behavior. She is going use every opportunity to belittle abhira. The last time that I would want to watch. And keep abhimaan unhappy always come in between them . I hope pls bhavna don't take negative ideas from here. Pls focus on positive things were discuss here🥲
