Version 1

Armaan sat in his office cabin, his mind a whirlpool of emotions. The weight of Bharti’s disappearance pressed heavily on his chest. He glanced at the clock, then at the phone in his hand. The silence was unbearable. Suddenly, the phone rang. When he saw the caller ID, his heart skipped a beat. Bharti. He picked up the call immediately, his voice shaky.

Armaan: "Bharti? Is it really you?"

A familiar voice answered, but this time it was louder, firmer.

Voice (Bharti): "Armaan!"

He turned in his chair, hearing her voice so clearly. His heart raced, and just as he stood up, the door opened. There she stood—Bharti. A wide smile spread across his face, his heart soaring at the sight of her. She was wearing a red off-shoulder mini dress, her grin mischievous, her eyes filled with a mix of joy and sincerity.

Armaan (with relief): "Bharti! Where have you been? I— I thought I lost you forever."

Bharti walked toward him, her steps measured but confident. Her eyes met his, and the air between them crackled with unspoken words.

Bharti (calmly): "I owe you an explanation. A full one. No more secrets, Armaan."

Armaan stepped forward, his expression a mix of confusion and longing. He had so many questions, but he knew he had to hear the truth from her, no matter how complicated it might be.

Armaan: "Tell me, Bharti. Please."

She took a deep breath, the weight of the truth heavy in her chest.

Bharti (gently): "Armaan, I’m not the same person you knew. I was... Bhaskar. A man, a very different man. My life was filled with arrogance and pride, and I hurt people—especially women. And then, there was Geeta... She cursed me. She made me feel the pain that a woman goes through, and overnight, I was transformed. I became Bharti, a woman, facing all the struggles I had never understood before. I’m no longer Bhaskar. I’m me. A completely separate person."

Armaan stood still, absorbing her words. Confusion, shock, and awe battled in his chest. His mind raced as he tried to grasp everything she was telling him.

Armaan (softly, overwhelmed): "You were… Bhaskar? But now you’re Bharti? And you’re telling me all of this, everything?"

Bharti (nodding): "Yes, everything. There’s no more pretending. No more hiding. I wanted to be with you as who I am, not as someone else."

Armaan stepped closer, his emotions spilling over. His heart was racing, but his love for her was even stronger than the confusion.

Armaan (gripping her arms gently): "Bharti, I don’t care about how you came to be, who you were, or what the curse was. What matters is you—the woman standing here before me. I love you. I’ve always loved you."

Without another word, he pulled her into a deep, passionate hug. Bharti, overwhelmed by the emotions, wrapped her arms around him, her head resting on his shoulder.

Bharti (whispering): "I love you too, Armaan. I’ve always loved you."

They pulled back slightly, their faces close, their breath mingling.

Armaan (smiling): "Then, let’s make this official. I don’t want to lose you again. I don’t want to rush, but…"

Bharti (interrupting): "Let’s take it slow, Armaan. But I want to live with you. With you, and Jiya. As a family."

Armaan was surprised by her suggestion, but his heart leaped at the idea.

Armaan (smiling warmly): "A live-in? You’re serious?"

Bharti (grinning): "I am. It’s the best way for us to truly be together before we take the next step. Besides, Jiya will be thrilled to have us both closer."

Armaan's face softened, and he nodded. He knew that this was the right decision.

Armaan: "Jiya will be so happy. And so will I."

He leaned in slowly, their lips meeting for the first time since their reunion. The kiss was soft, tender—an expression of the love they had fought so hard to find again. Armaan pulled away just slightly, teasing her.

Armaan (playfully): "You know, you’ve kept me waiting long enough for this kiss. I’ll have to make up for the lost time."

Bharti (laughing softly): "I think we both have a lot of time to make up for."

They shared another kiss, this time with more passion, both feeling the years of longing and uncertainty melting away in the warmth of each other’s embrace.

Armaan: "Let’s go surprise Jiya. I can’t wait to see her face when she knows we’re together."

They left Men’s Universe hand in hand, eager to see Jiya, to be a family.

***

Jiya ran into the room with excitement as Armaan and Bharti walked in. She squealed in delight, running to Bharti, throwing her arms around her.

Jiya: "Mumma! I’m so happy you’re back! I knew you’d come back!"

Bharti (smiling warmly, bending to hug Jiya): "I’m so happy to be back, Jiya. I’m never leaving again."

Armaan watched, a contented smile on his face, as Bharti and Jiya shared a tender moment. It was everything he had ever wanted—his two girls in his life, and now, they were truly a family.

That night, after putting Jiya to bed, Armaan and Bharti sat together in the quiet of their home. Their connection had deepened in ways they couldn’t yet express, but they were no longer lost or uncertain. They were home.

Armaan: "We have a lifetime ahead of us, Bharti."

Bharti (resting her head on his shoulder): "I couldn’t ask for anything more, Armaan. I love you."

Armaan: "I love you too."

They sat there, in the comfort of their love, knowing that their journey was only just beginning.

Version 2

The quiet hum of Armaan’s office only amplified the sadness that weighed on his chest. He stared at the empty desk before him, his fingers tracing the edges of a photograph. It was of Bharti—his Bharti. The woman he had thought he lost. His thoughts were interrupted when his phone rang. His heart raced as he saw the name on the screen: Bharti.

He answered without a second thought, his voice shaking with hope.

Armaan (softly): "Bharti? Is that really you?"

The voice on the other end was unmistakable. It called his full name loudly, almost as if teasing him.

Voice (Bharti): "Armaan!"

His heart skipped a beat. He quickly turned around, his eyes scanning the room. The sound of the door creaking made him look up. And there she was, standing in the doorway. Bharti. His Bharti. A grin played across her lips, and she wore a red off-shoulder mini dress that took his breath away.

Armaan (eyes wide, unable to contain his smile): "Bharti… you… you're here!"

She walked towards him confidently, her gaze unwavering. The warmth in her eyes made his heart race faster.

Bharti (with a teasing smile): "Did you really think I’d disappear forever, Armaan?"

Armaan (standing up): "I… I don’t know. I just— I was so lost without you."

He stepped closer to her, his hands trembling as he reached for her.

Armaan (confused but full of emotion): "You’ve been gone for days, Bharti. Where did you go? What’s going on?"

Bharti let out a soft sigh, her expression turning serious. She took his hands in hers and began to speak, revealing the truth that had weighed on her for so long.

Bharti (quietly): "Armaan, I wasn’t just gone. I had to disappear for a reason. Do you remember Bhaskar? The man you once knew? Well… I was Bhaskar."

Armaan’s eyes widened in disbelief, and he stepped back, his mind struggling to comprehend her words.

Armaan (shocked): "Wait, what? You— you were Bhaskar?"

Bharti nodded solemnly, her gaze never leaving his.

Bharti (softly): "Yes, I was. Bhaskar—the man who hurt so many women, who didn’t understand the pain they went through. And then there was Geeta... Her heartbreak, her curse... It made me feel the pain of a woman. And overnight, I was transformed. I became Bharti."

Armaan stood frozen, the confusion swirling in his mind. Bharti’s eyes, filled with sincerity, held his.

Bharti: "I am Bharti, now. I’m not Bhaskar anymore. I’m a separate person, Armaan. And I wanted you to know everything. No more secrets, no more misunderstandings."

Armaan, overwhelmed with a mix of emotions—shock, confusion, and love—slowly approached her.

Armaan (softly, his voice cracking): "But... you’re still you. You’re the woman I love, the woman I’ve always loved. It doesn’t matter how you came to be, Bharti. You’re here now. And that’s all that matters to me."

Bharti smiled, her eyes tearing up as she stepped forward, wrapping her arms around him. He held her tight, as if afraid she might disappear again.

Bharti (whispering): "I love you, Armaan. I never stopped loving you."

Armaan (tears welling up): "I love you too. I’ve missed you more than words can say."

They held each other for a long moment, the connection between them deeper than ever before. Finally, Armaan pulled back slightly, looking at her with a soft smile.

Armaan: "I want us to be together, Bharti. But before anything else… I want to take this slow. I want us to date. Officially."

Bharti's eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint.

Bharti (playfully): "How about we live together first?"

Armaan looked surprised, blinking at her in disbelief.

Armaan (teasing): "Live-in? You’re full of surprises, aren’t you?"

Bharti (grinning): "Why not? We’ve spent so much time apart, Armaan. I want to build a life with you. And Jiya—she’ll be so happy to have us both together, under the same roof."

Armaan’s heart swelled at the thought of Jiya, his daughter, finally seeing them as a family. He nodded, his smile widening.

Armaan: "You’re right. She’ll be thrilled."

Bharti (smiling): "Then it’s settled. We’ll live together. And then, when the time is right, we’ll take the next step."

Armaan moved closer, his voice soft and full of emotion.

Armaan: "And this time, I’m never letting you go."

With that, he leaned in, and they shared a soft, lingering kiss. It was tender at first, then deepened, a kiss that spoke of longing and the love they had fought so hard to find again. When they finally pulled apart, Armaan teasingly grinned at her.

Armaan (grinning): "You know, I’ve waited a long time for that kiss."

Bharti (laughing): "I think we both have. But we’ve got all the time in the world now."

They left Men’s Universe hand in hand, ready to surprise Jiya. As they entered the house, Jiya, who had been waiting for them, jumped up with joy when she saw Bharti.

Jiya (excitedly): "Bharti aunty! You’re back!"

Bharti (bending down to hug her): "I’m never leaving again, Jiya. I promise."

Armaan (grinning): "Our family is complete now, Jiya. It’s just us."

That night, after putting Jiya to bed, Armaan and Bharti shared a quiet moment together in their bedroom. They cuddled, their fingers entwined as they reminisced about everything they had been through.

Armaan (whispering): "I don’t know how I managed without you, Bharti. You’re everything to me."

Bharti (nuzzling into his chest): "And you’re everything to me, Armaan."

They kissed once more, tenderly this time, allowing the moment to linger. In each other’s arms, they found peace, love, and the promise of a future filled with happiness.
