Version 1
Armaan sat in his office cabin, his mind a whirlpool of emotions. The weight of Bharti’s disappearance pressed heavily on his chest. He glanced at the clock, then at the phone in his hand. The silence was unbearable. Suddenly, the phone rang. When he saw the caller ID, his heart skipped a beat. Bharti. He picked up the call immediately, his voice shaky.
Armaan: "Bharti? Is it really you?"
A familiar voice answered, but this time it was louder, firmer.
Voice (Bharti): "Armaan!"
He turned in his chair, hearing her voice so clearly. His heart raced, and just as he stood up, the door opened. There she stood—Bharti. A wide smile spread across his face, his heart soaring at the sight of her. She was wearing a red off-shoulder mini dress, her grin mischievous, her eyes filled with a mix of joy and sincerity.
Armaan (with relief): "Bharti! Where have you been? I— I thought I lost you forever."
Bharti walked toward him, her steps measured but confident. Her eyes met his, and the air between them crackled with unspoken words.
Bharti (calmly): "I owe you an explanation. A full one. No more secrets, Armaan."
Armaan stepped forward, his expression a mix of confusion and longing. He had so many questions, but he knew he had to hear the truth from her, no matter how complicated it might be.
Armaan: "Tell me, Bharti. Please."
She took a deep breath, the weight of the truth heavy in her chest.
Bharti (gently): "Armaan, I’m not the same person you knew. I was... Bhaskar. A man, a very different man. My life was filled with arrogance and pride, and I hurt people—especially women. And then, there was Geeta... She cursed me. She made me feel the pain that a woman goes through, and overnight, I was transformed. I became Bharti, a woman, facing all the struggles I had never understood before. I’m no longer Bhaskar. I’m me. A completely separate person."
Armaan stood still, absorbing her words. Confusion, shock, and awe battled in his chest. His mind raced as he tried to grasp everything she was telling him.
Armaan (softly, overwhelmed): "You were… Bhaskar? But now you’re Bharti? And you’re telling me all of this, everything?"
Bharti (nodding): "Yes, everything. There’s no more pretending. No more hiding. I wanted to be with you as who I am, not as someone else."
Armaan stepped closer, his emotions spilling over. His heart was racing, but his love for her was even stronger than the confusion.
Armaan (gripping her arms gently): "Bharti, I don’t care about how you came to be, who you were, or what the curse was. What matters is you—the woman standing here before me. I love you. I’ve always loved you."
Without another word, he pulled her into a deep, passionate hug. Bharti, overwhelmed by the emotions, wrapped her arms around him, her head resting on his shoulder.
Bharti (whispering): "I love you too, Armaan. I’ve always loved you."
They pulled back slightly, their faces close, their breath mingling.
Armaan (smiling): "Then, let’s make this official. I don’t want to lose you again. I don’t want to rush, but…"
Bharti (interrupting): "Let’s take it slow, Armaan. But I want to live with you. With you, and Jiya. As a family."
Armaan was surprised by her suggestion, but his heart leaped at the idea.
Armaan (smiling warmly): "A live-in? You’re serious?"
Bharti (grinning): "I am. It’s the best way for us to truly be together before we take the next step. Besides, Jiya will be thrilled to have us both closer."
Armaan's face softened, and he nodded. He knew that this was the right decision.
Armaan: "Jiya will be so happy. And so will I."
He leaned in slowly, their lips meeting for the first time since their reunion. The kiss was soft, tender—an expression of the love they had fought so hard to find again. Armaan pulled away just slightly, teasing her.
Armaan (playfully): "You know, you’ve kept me waiting long enough for this kiss. I’ll have to make up for the lost time."
Bharti (laughing softly): "I think we both have a lot of time to make up for."
They shared another kiss, this time with more passion, both feeling the years of longing and uncertainty melting away in the warmth of each other’s embrace.
Armaan: "Let’s go surprise Jiya. I can’t wait to see her face when she knows we’re together."
They left Men’s Universe hand in hand, eager to see Jiya, to be a family.

Jiya ran into the room with excitement as Armaan and Bharti walked in. She squealed in delight, running to Bharti, throwing her arms around her.
Jiya: "Mumma! I’m so happy you’re back! I knew you’d come back!"
Bharti (smiling warmly, bending to hug Jiya): "I’m so happy to be back, Jiya. I’m never leaving again."
Armaan watched, a contented smile on his face, as Bharti and Jiya shared a tender moment. It was everything he had ever wanted—his two girls in his life, and now, they were truly a family.
That night, after putting Jiya to bed, Armaan and Bharti sat together in the quiet of their home. Their connection had deepened in ways they couldn’t yet express, but they were no longer lost or uncertain. They were home.
Armaan: "We have a lifetime ahead of us, Bharti."
Bharti (resting her head on his shoulder): "I couldn’t ask for anything more, Armaan. I love you."
Armaan: "I love you too."
They sat there, in the comfort of their love, knowing that their journey was only just beginning.
