Harshad was always good, not amazing but good actor. At a times I did find some of his scenes funny but anyway, he was really good in LEFT RIGHT LEFT. I think it was his 1st show. I didn't watch his Soby TV show which he did with .. umm that actress who played a mytho character in one of her recent show. I always thought his Rishta character was a downgrade of all characters he has played so far, a hangover from Aditya of Bepanah but Adi was still enjoyable.

I hope his new show does well.

I had a lot of hope when I heard HC would be doing Rishta. Was expecting a no nonsense mature doctor. What was delivered though is better left unsaid. They tried to copy paste Karthik form gen 2. Only it turned out to be 10 times more cringe and completely off-putting with HC.

Even if it wasn't no 1 it still had more trps than gen 4 which is stuck onto 2.1 or 2.2 since gen 4 started n only topped once because Upma trps decreased otherwise no chance for this shit gen to be at top with below average acting of leads n whitewash of their kaands.

Doing ass licking brought that one actor to round table otherwise his character on show was nothing but a manchild.

HC playing abhi did soften him for the audience. A character written on paper and an actor playing it r two different things. One of the examples is in Malayalam movie where Basil Joseph played an abusive husband. I think in one of actors round table or something someone mentioned how u feel angry towards the guy cos of the character but then it’s Basil Joseph who emits an innocent charm. So in a way an actor does play huge role in how the character is on screen. It’s not like he was out of work after his first show and Rajan shahi came with yeh rishta. He had his fair share of hits.moreover what writers did was try to pair up Abhi with arohi and when he was against it they weren’t happy. When someone plays a character they do have a say in how it turns out to be. Another eg Mathew perry saying they can’t show chandler cheating on Monica on friends which turned out to be a good decision they r still one of the loves on screen relationships. Just cos ur paid for a role doesn’t mean creatives can butcher your character any way. I know in tv u can’t really guarantee how thing will turn out to be. But Rajan Shahi’s show did have some standard in the beginning. If u compare s4 to s1 u wud think things have gone to the past rather than the future. In s1 even though akshara came from a conservative family they did show her in laws mind set changing and her handling the family business whereas poddars r still in their regressive era. Shahi saying Harshad was behind him to cast him his show must be cos of the past success of his shows. His shows have defintely lost the charm that it once had and all this bad mouthing actors who have left the show just leaves a bad taste. Also when an actor is replaced or a new gen starts it’s not necessary the audience wud want to continue with the new faces. Naira Kartik story was gradually introduced while hina was still there. By the time she left they already had a fan base.by the time gen3 started neither Naira or Kartik was there. Mohsin wasn’t even shown after first leap with grown up kids. It was just Sirat. So bringing someone who already had a fan base wud have helped while starting a new gen.

See, I did not say anything about all this actor-character stuff. All I said was no one did a favor on anyone, na HC aur na hi RS ne. This is a business just like any other, where both parties gained something out of it. I have seen some toxic HC fans (not saying you are one of them) spreading this narrative about how HC did some great favor on the show. Rishta has its own fans and it ran successfully for 11 years without HC. So it is not like HC offered anything great to the show. If anything I felt that if it was someone younger playing Abhimanyu's role, the character would have come across as less cringe. But that's just my opinion. To each their own.

First of all we never claimed according to you that actor fans tha he was ML. We always accept that he is sidey but we always pointed out even being sidey he successfully able to pulled out his ckt so well and his ckt definitely that important that it helped Gen 3 to run 1 year. Its your favs who always claims that due to HC rishta is famous, due to HC gen 3 got trp only so we informed you that Rishta famous even before him and any other known actor like Saheer or Parth can play Abhimanyu, it will bring same trp.

As yes like jane said its HC fans claims that he did favour on RS by choosing it but its not. Both got equal benifit due to it. Nobody favours nobody. We don't in favour of RS either but HC fans are also not less. HC fans always abused JS for playing that role. So what you expect him to do, just sit and home and not pick ckt just due to Abhira fd? If there was not JS somebody else also plays it. Just accept reality that HC gave high trp in start but he gave low also.

Just stop abusing any actor is not related to HC onscreen ckt. More that that other actors fans HC fans comments are come out more abusive. You can see that comment on which you quoted. You have clarity that who is spitting more Venom

Exactly n if gen 3 was flopped then that actor n character is as much responsible for it as much as others are..Infact story was changed in order to accommodate that actor as he wasn't getting a job..

I still have screenshots of you praising Gen 3 introductory promo and called it *Refreshing* which sort of shows that you weren't always against the show and HC but like you said... Execution was poor..

No matter what the season , if rishta was never no 1 then why doesn't he shut off this pathetic show and give some other 'worthy enough' show the opportunity to air on that particular time slot.
