Edit- another irritating thing for me is the bg music they use on the leads which was ditto copied from the Jinn show leads.. am reminded of them- Aman and Roshni.

Creatives have the ownership and they are using it. I can understand that for previous show's fans it will be difficult to disconnect from that when hearing it. But can't help with that.

Daayan story totally depends on leads. Their marriage is one of the main turning points in the story. The story is going super fast. Cannot understand in what sense you called it slow. Only thing is it's just 15min epis till now, and by next week it will have full time episodes.

Slow as in, they are concentrating more on the leads (and their chemistry/fights) than the dayan story. Plus the FL is over acting and her powers have been shown briefly.. there is no connect between the leads and the dayan.. just that she follows the ML, kills randomn people.. (I haven't seen the 14th episode yet, hopefully she reveals her reason, but the suspense, thrill like in the og Nazar isn't there).

Plus do Shrenu, Sumbul only have cameos??

Shrenu, Sumbul have cameos only. It was said even before the drama started. And it just started and building up the story in a nice way. And it's building towards the daayan's story only. Sorry, nothing you mentioned make any sense to me. Both the leads are directly connected to the daayan story only and their togetherness is going to create something unexpectable. It's crazy to only expect the entire story going on daayans They should build up the background first. I didn't see anything unwanted in the drama till now. It's actually going fast and they should not make it faster, then there won't be any story to watch.

The show is about the story of the leads only. Not about the daayans. There's no point of watching a show if you only want to see daayans

FL is overacting? I'm sorry, don't agree. Both the leads are doing a commendable job. The story is running mainly on both of their performances plus the brothers I would say.

We can agree to disagree.

I find the story to be abrupt, full of holes, scenes aren't building up, suddenly after insulting the FL by forcibly transferring money to her for her damaged car, ML helps her car move sitting on a tank.. just coz she needed help.. where did that even come from.? Apart from having leads forcibly in a scene together, nothing about that scene made sense.

That's just how shows are made nowadays.. majority fans only look at chem of leads.. wow, how awesome.. rest of the story can go take a hike.

Guess you have not watched the episodes clearly. It was clearly shown that he didn't recognize it was her before helping to move her car. After doing that only he recognized it was her. That's why then he made her run here and there.

And it's obvious somewhere deep inside both of them have a connection. Those scenes are there to show that someway or the other they get connected.

So the scene made a sense, but you didn't understand it

The story will go forward only after the leads marriage. That's the story of the show. They are building up for their marriage. And you want the leads to get married in the 1st episode itself without anything going on and go on with a daayan story? Who would watch it for 200 episodes We are watching a drama, not a documentary. Problem is not with us who enjoys a drama which runs without nonsense but a lovely story, problem is with you who doesn't know even what to expect from a drama. They are carrying the drama forward with the best way possible. There should be a story. Because actually the leads are coming from 2 opposite worlds. FL is destined to kill the ML. But they are getting married and changes the whole scenario. They are running the daayan story parallel in the background slowly building up the situation to carry the story forward.

So still, what you say doesn't make any sense to me. And again, the story is running around the leads only. So without their story, the show won't go anywhere. So it's going on as it should be going. Now it's been 21 episodes and all are going in a commendable speed and all have been interesting.

And about FL, idk whether you have watched Aashiqana from the same team where the same leads were there. Both of them are really good actors. So obviously I won't comment on your taste in that.

Just started watching this show.. watched 5 episodes.

For the start, I think it has all the elements…devil and angel, three close knit brothers and the mystery lurking behind…. If they carry on nicely, I feel this will be a decent watch

It's been 22 episodes and going great

Finally.. story is moving.. the prathamvanshi warning the ML that he is becoming the davansh completely.. i liked that scene.. only scene where i didnt ff every 2 seconds..

am still ignoring the hyperventilating mom and the FL.. Cringe.. am hoping that Shrenu and Sumbul come back for a longer stint. Liked the leads much better in the trailer videos.. especially that elevator scene.. now FL completely destroys the scenes with her hyperventilating, OTT expressions. Edit- as always, mockery of customs and rituals. Just by putting sindoor, people aren't tied to each other.
