According to my theory ,Tai amma is a Tamilian.Her Husband is a Keralite.Isliye Tamil Malayalam mundu veshti every thing got mixed.So it was a Tamil malayali wedding(plz note it's my theory)Its so simple like Rohit Poddar never considers his Armaan bhaiyaa sautela.

It's a tradition of them that to show every culture of ours mixed. Change karna hota toh wo log kab se change kar chuke honge ,when People complain about this mistreatment of south Indian language and traditions in every show.Ye sab karke Armaan sa ka middle mai rakh diya toh offcourse we can't ignore him na?
