I like the fact that in spite of all her care, Mehru hasnt let him off the hook just because he was sorry and he refused to marry Amal or Zain died. She is still holding him accountable for his fake promises and what not.
This is another difference between her and Amal. Mehrunissa is making sure that he is making amends and earning her love. Amal just needed one look and few false promises and she was running after him not caring what he had done and that he's married etc
