But why couldn't she have gotten a longer rope for Vidya to put around her neck? Uski bhi zazurat thi.

Oh, I hope not. They honestly cannot be defending their actions and still be on their side after hearing about all this. But they were stopping Madhav from insulting Vidya for some reason.

when madhav was collecting the sharp objects i thought thats why ruhi was holding the rope because madhav was going to point to the rope and say go get all rope/sarees as well so she doesnt use these to threaten next when no knives are available
