It's too much to expect from Ghum makers but are they doing foreshadowing kind of thing? Because here and there, someone keeps telling Neil Rutu would make you like himself and Neil being in more fangirl mode than Teju tells there can be only one Rutu and no one else like him. I guess if show manages to survive, they'll give a Neil makeover or rockstar arc, if only temporarily. Bhale hi uske baad fir vo Bhondu ban jaaye.

i noticed it too esp the mellowed bgm when he says ki he cannot be like Rutu. too much to expect but i think they're kinda building up his insecurities for when he gets to know the truth (i'm more excited for the revelation part than shaadi). i hope knowing itv they would make it more dramatic than the og

I saw that scene but didn't think about it much. It seems that Neil thinks RR is extremely smart and dashing. So, according to him, nobody can be like him.

Sanam and his girlfriend, Abigail

They recently completed 10 years of their relationship. Sanam said, "He's very different from Rituraj. He's like Neil in real life."

I feel it's not just a love triangle. It's also about Neil's insecurities and always seeing himself as inferior to Ruturaj. Kind of interesting, because in ITV always cousins and siblings are shown as jealous and insecure of the leads and not vice versa. It's more of Neil's journey to reclaim his self confidence and belief in his own worth.

Neil always seems to be in awe of Rutu too much, in fact more than his cousins. Also I thought he would say Mujhe Rutu jaisa Banna bhi nahi hai, but he didn't say it. In a way, Neil sees Rutu living the dream that could be his if he wasn't discouraged to pursue music by his family. There are many layers to Neil when he's not busy in Aparajita chant.

Real life me full role reversal hai. Sanam was too shy and introvert. Param bahut bakbak karta tha though he has mellowed down a lot now. Though role ke liye mellow down hua hai ya sach me pata nahi. But pehle bahut bolta tha interviews me.

I feel like more of brotherhood if there is something like this statement....than inferiority as we say to our good friends (bros) and cousins....

Let see if they add his singing ka angle not a rockstar par he can be a normal sa Arijit Singh....
