As a finance professional, I fully agree. The girl and her terrible financial planning gives me nightmares on a daily basis.

she has been actively working for 1+ year at least by now, does not even have high end tastes or hobby of crashing cars every month. and yet somehow she does not even have enough savings to rent a decent apartment. financial planning skills are non existent
