They were educated by Valmiki but may have learned extra like how Rama and Lakshmana learned from Vishwamitra.

Depending on when and where they were born, Bharat and Shathrugan's kids would have received education either from Vasishta or from Gargya or the Madhura's royal priest (I forgot his name, it is mentioned in the Ramayana Uttar Kand)
