I have been busy and Wow, alot has happened I guess. This thread used to be so much fun. I really enjoyed reading all the fun discussions. Now this thread is just dead. I hope life , Virgo and Sans come back. They were life of this thread. Guys let's not take everything too seriously. It's just a fictional drama at the end of the day. Try to get along and have fun.

Yeah I'd love that. But with the invention of insta X and toktick, there is a new generation of viewers that I can't relate to.

They only ship. Whether it's Ammar-Nashwa or Nashwa-Burhan. Or in iqtidar the killer brother got shipped with Anmols sister!! I mean they showed that between a guy who killed a girls brother. In that case khanni which was so toxic was better.

I don't get how enablers and killers and female abusers are getting VMed.

Exactly. It’s fiction aka not real. People watch for entertainment, discuss for entertainment. They take what they love and ignore the rest. For some it’s character arcs, for some it’s chemistry, for some it’s the central themes of the story. No two people watching the same show are going to like EXACTLY the same things.

And good strong point in this show is that there’s something for everyone to enjoy and talk about. Beshak woh jo bhi ho. If the drama itself is giving so many interesting characters, dynamics, performances and pairings, when you have such a mix of lovely ingredients, WHY would you care who loves what and why.

ANYWAY. Lovely points brought up on Fuchsia by Rabia today. Even she’s saying Yumna is clicking so well with MANY actors here. Audience ko kya hi koi blame ker sakta hai. Literally every dynamic is so interesting to watch.

It’s literally so heartwarming to see all platforms full of praises for this show. It’s such a feel good soothing watch which is intelligently written. Getting the acclaim, the ratings, ab tou views have also grown. I love the appreciation it’s getting. I think this is a show where I’m invested in all the characters and arcs. Warna most of the other shows these days have one interesting track and then rest of the tracks are skip skip forward forward

Show is getting its well deserved attention, praise n numbers.

The only problem I have and unable to connect is the fact that the whole family, society including the FL are so cool about the ra*e as if it's a small mistake. They all are so casual with the culprit ,and his father even brings that up to threaten his son to get him married to the girl they pick. How are everyone so casual about it n why no one is freaking out!!

I saw post about this on reddit. I feel all points are valid.

As we already discussed why nashwa showed no reaction for faryal and ammar's potential marriage considering she knows ammar is a rapist.

Why bisma wants to live in a house where two rapists (bakthiyar and ammar) live when she has better option with asim.

I recalled past episodes, after learning about rape case, nashwa tells along the lines like ammar is like brother, bade abbu doing wrong with him by trying to hide the issue when his sister marriage is happening. She wanted justice for maheen too.

All these making me scare for upcoming episodes.

They should have either kept the crime to a lower extent then ,or doubtful abt the culprit so the characters didn't seem so casual abt the crime. Plus they need to get a move on the court case, its been ages since we head that the case was open again.
