Exactly! They are always gonna compromise on their characters to accommodate whatever plot they have in mind. Because as long as they don't take it to a point of no return, like you said, they're gonna continuously milk that cow for everything that it's worth because the viewers keep accepting the redemption arcs.

No character is gonna stay consistent and according to their character arc in the beginning. ITV has never worked that way.

Between Abhira and Shivani, it was a no brainer that Armaan would choose Shivani. He has met her after 30 years and she is in a very traumatized and weak state who needs the support of her son. But the whole idiocy here is that Armaan thought he had to choose based on RK’s ultimatum. Both the women want to be with him and he rightfully can live a life with both of them in it. If RK wants to be an ass about this, then that’s on him cause not like Armaan forbade him from being in touch with Shivani or spending time with her in the future. What is with men and their ideology that women belong to them as if they were some object and not humans with actual feelings and intelligence.

His name is still mentioned in the credits so I don’t know how he is not associated with the show.

Yeah, I came to know some time before that Bhavna is just the screen play writer.. But then just aadat se majboor and easier,so continue to user her name

I don't know. But I remember somebody praising him for gen 3 and then saying that they are looking forward to gen 4. To which he replied that he is grateful but other writers are going to take forward Gen 4. Hope they give them a chance

I think maybe he wrote the broad strokes of Gen 4 story and rest are doing the main day to day writing

I love the chemistry between Shivani and Abhira so much. Reminds me of the times when Abhira and Akshu used to be onscreen <3
