Jo mere dil ko dil banati hai(The one that makes my heart a heart)Part 1

Since the PraNbir Purvi Khushi track remained incomplete in KKB,I am writing a TS on the 20 years leap focusing on them especially PraNbir.I dedicate this to Colin who encouraged me to write on PraNbir after a break.

Prachi was shocked to see Ranbir as her new best friend Trishna's husband Krishna Kakkar.

Ranbir followed Prachi:Prachi...please listen to me.

Prachi:Why should I listen to you now?You are my friend's husband now.Not my husband.

Ranbir's heart got pricked.

Ranbir:Our marriage is not like you think.The truth is that...

Prachi:I don't want to hear anything.First you faked your own death,kept yourself away from me for more than 20 years.Why Ranbir?Do you have any answer for that?You killed me mentally.You broke my heart into pieces.

Ranbir:I had come to see you.But I heard an old lady talking about how dedicated you were to your husband Akshay and how much you love him.You were looking upset too.You were mourning the death of Akshay.I realized that you valued Akshay more than me and I had no place in your heart.So I decided to be away from you.

Prachi looked at Ranbir in shock.

Prachi:For this you stayed away from me making me believe that you were dead?How did you just believe a random lady's words?She thought Akshay was my husband and talked like that.I was upset because Akshay was my friend,not because I loved him.I was depressed because you were arrested by the police accusing you of killing Akshay.How did you even think that I loved Akshay?If I had loved Akshay,why would I leave him and marry you?Atleast you could have asked me before judging me.You know what?I was someone who prayed for your innocence to get proved even after your so called death.I was very happy when Mihika confessed her crime before getting admitted in the mental asylum because that proved your innocence in Akshay murder case.

Ranbir was shattered and guilty.Because of his blunder and a misunderstanding he took the worst decision of his life.

His lips shivered:I am sorry Prachi.Please forgive me.I spoiled my own life.

Prachi:Sorry?Can a 'sorry' can change 20 years?You spoiled your own life?How did you spoil your life?You married Trishna and lived happily.

Ranbir:You also got married again Prachi.That's how Purvi was born.

Prachi looked at him in shock.

She thought:Such a big misunderstanding!How could he think that I married someone else?

Ranbir:Can I ask you something?Who is Purvi's father?

That was too much for Prachi.She had enough from him.She got fed up.Tears rolled down her cheek.

With a hurt expression she looked at him:I don't have any intention to tell you that.

She walked away angrily.

Prachi shed tears in front of Akshay's father Ashok who was a father figure for her.

Prachi:He asked me who Purvi's father is.

Ashok was shocked.

Ashok:Why did'nt you tell him that he is Purvi's father?

Prachi:Why should I tell him that when he has no trust in him?When he tore my heart by asking that question I decided not to reveal that to him.He does not deserve to know that Purvi is his daughter.

She was in tears.

Ashok became upset.

Ranbir was in the mall.His eyes fell on the kids' dresses.He remembered Khushi.

Suddenly he thought:Khushi is a grown up woman now.These dresses won't fit her now.I wish I could see my Khushi now.

That time Khushi and Purvi arrived there.

Ranbir remembered Purvi.

Ranbir:I will buy a dress for Purvi as she is going to get married.She is just like my daughter.She reminds me of Prachi.

Ranbir walked towards the ladies dress section.

Suddenly Purvi's eyes fell on him.

Purvi:KK sir..

Khushi:KK sir?

Purvi:Yes.I told you that I met a nice man named Krishna Kakkar.He is there.

Khushi:Oh..the one who is affectionate towards you like a father?

Purvi:Yes.He considers me like his own daughter.

Khushi smiled.

Khushi:Where is he?I want to see your KK sir.

Purvi smiled.

Purvi looked at Ranbir and called him:KK Sir!

Ranbir turned back.

Purvi:Khushi di..that is KK Sir.

Khushi got shocked seeing Ranbir.She remembered her childhood moments with Ranbir.

She could not believe her eyes.Her father whom she thought to be lost forever is standing infront of her.

Khushi became emotional.

Khushi:Papa!

Such an emotional start!

This TS slightly different from the show Kumkum bhagya.Here Ranbir saved Prachi from the terrorists before RajVi's marriage.In this TS, RV and Khushi are not ex lovers.

Ranbir was in the mall.His eyes fell on the kids' dresses.He remembered Khushi.

Suddenly he thought:Khushi is a grown up woman now.These dresses won't fit her now.I wish I could see my Khushi now.

That time Khushi and Purvi arrived there.

Ranbir remembered Purvi.

Seeing Purvi,Ranbir walked towards her.

Ranbir:Purvi!How are you?

Purvi:I am good.How are you Sir?

Ranbir:I am also fine.

Khushi was looking at Ranbir without blinking her eyes.

Purvi:KK Sir..this is my sister Khushi di.

Ranbir was stunned and looked at Khushi.

He remembered his moments with the little Khushi.

His eyes became wet.

Khushi started weeping:Papa!

They hugged each other.Purvi was shocked.

Purvi looked at Ranbir emotionally.She remembered how Ranbir saved her from the terrorists risking his own life.

She remembered Ranbir applying ointment on her palm wound.

Purvi:You did a father's duty without knowing that I am your daughter.You are really the best father.

Ranbir was touched by her words.

Khushi:Papa,we were told that you were not alive.Where were you if you were alive?Why did'nt you stay with us?Do you know how much we missed you?

Ranbir looked down in guilt.

Ranbir:I misunderstood your mother Prachi.That's why I left.I am sorry.

Khushi and Prachi became upset.

Purvi:You married Maa's best friend Trishna aunty.But Maa....

Khushi:Why did you marry someone else papa?But Maa was staying alone craving for you every moment.

Ranbir was shocked:What?Prachi is single?She did'nt remarry?

Khushi:No.

Purvi:Maa cannot think of anyone other than you.She lived in your memories.

Ranbir was shocked.

Khushi:Maa looked after me and Purvi single handedly.

Ranbir thought with a shock:That means Purvi is my daughter.

Ranbir caressed Purvi's face emotionally:You are my daughter?

Khushi:Yes papa.After you left,Maa came to know that she was pregnant.

Ranbir:Oh no!When I was with you,I was feeling fatherly affection towards you.But I never realized that you were my own daughter.I am sorry Purvi.

Purvi became emotional.

Purvi:Atleast now we both recognized each other.It's a great thing.Thanks to God.

Ranbir:Yes.Thank God!God cleared my misunderstandings.Now I want to live with you both and Prachi.

Khushi and Purvi became dull.

Purvi:But you are married to Trishna aunty.

Ranbir:That was fake marriage just to show the public for Tashu's father's political career.We both are just friends.Tashu and her parents helped me when I was in distress.So when her father asked me to marry her,I could not refuse it.But we paid money to the Pandit for chanting wrong mantras.So our marriage was not marriage.Infact Prachi and I are not legally divorced too.I have loved only Prachi and can only marry Prachi.

Khushi and Purvi became very happy.

Khushi:That means we will be together as a happy family like before.

Ranbir:Yes.

Purvi:I am so happy that I am not fatherless anymore and I have my father with me now.

Ranbir and Purvi hugged each other.

Khushi joined their hug.

Ranbir:I will talk to Prachi.After all she works under Tashu's father.

They smiled.

Ranbir:Now let us do shopping together.

Purvi and Khushi smiled.

Ranbir bought dresses for Purvi and Khushi making them happy to get gifts from their father.

Ranbir went near Prachi.

Ranbir:Prachi...I want to talk to you.

Prachi:The truth is that you both are married.What can be more truthful than this?

Prachi walked away.Ranbir became upset.

Khushi and Purvi met Ranbir.

Ranbir said painfully:Prachi is not even willing to listen to me.

Khushi and Purvi became upset.

Purvi:She feels betrayed papa.That's why she is angry with you.

Khushi:But Maa's anger will melt soon as she loves you very much.You need to talk to her somehow.

Ranbir nodded emotionally.

Khushi and Purvi went near Prachi to talk.

Khushi:Maa....Purvi introduced KK Sir to me.

Prachi looked at Khushi in tension.

Prachi became emotional.

Purvi:Please Maa.. please listen to what papa wants to tell you.I was grown up without my father and I always longed for my father.Now I really want my father.Please forgive him..

Khushi:Maa..you know that I always craved for papa all these years even though I knew that he wouldn't be coming back.But now that I know that he is alive,I really want him back as my father.Please forgive him for our sake.It's our request.

Prachi replied tearfully:For your happiness I can do anything.I will forgive Ranbir.I will speak to him.

Khushi and Purvi became happy.

Purvi:Really Maa?

Prachi caressed her face and said:Yes.

They:Thank you Maa.

They hugged and kissed Prachi.

Prachi entered Trishna's house.Ranbir was standing in the drawing room.

Ranbir and Prachi saw each other.

They walked towards each other emotionally.

Marhami sa chaand hai tu
Diljala sa main andhera
Ek dooje ke liye hain
Neend meri khwaab tera

Ranbir:Prachi...please listen to me.I am really sorry.I really hurt you.But I promise you that I will not repeat it.

Suddenly Prachi said:I have forgiven you Ranbir.

Ranbir was stunned.He became happy.

Ranbir:You really forgave me?

Prachi:Yes.My daughters want me to forgive their father.There is nothing more important than my daughters for me.

Ranbir:Our daughters...

Prachi:Atleast now you remembered your daughters.

Ranbir felt guilty.

Ranbir:I did wrong to you and Khushi,But I always remembered you and Khushi.Unexpectedly I started seeing my daughter in Purvi.That's the power of blood.God made me meet my daughter whose existence I did'nt know.

Prachi looked at him emotionally.

Tu ghata hai phuhaar ki
Main ghadi intezaar ki
Apna milna likha
Issi baras hai na(Dhadak).

Ranbir:Our daughters forgave me and accepted me.You also accepted me.Now we can live together.Right?

Ranbir was excited.

Prachi stared at him.

Prachi:I forgave you.Khushi and Purvi have united with you.But I can't be your wife.

Ranbir was shocked:Why Prachi?

Prachi replied while crying:You broke my heart.Now you want to break Tashu's heart too?I cannot betray my best friend by snatching her husband from me.Now you are Tashu's husband.Please don't forget it Ranbir.The truth is that we can never be together.

Ranbir became upset.

Suddenly Prachi heard a voice from behind.

"Whose husband Priyu?"

Prachi turned back.Trishna was standing there.

Trishna:My husband?

Prachi became nervous thinking that the truth is going to get exposed before Trishna.
