S1 worked bcoz of the strong characters , bhavani kaku had a different aura , Sai was a strong FL with opinions & ML had different shades & was not a head nodding robot , pakhi's kalesh as third angle were entertaining....& Major plus point was trp aunties love sautan fights & drama

Here this gen appears bland & boring where both leads need character changes & no other strong character being there with third angle being a guy which is not a bonus in terms of trp as aunties mostly love 2 girls fighting for a guy...

Trp will still increase after marriage but not as high as they are expecting bcoz they need to make lot of changes to get high numbers...let's see which show they copy after marriage as even they understood phagun bou clearly dosent fit in ghum land

S1 was well executed craft....story, characters and screenplay all was maintained well.....

It mainly worked because of deal marriage theme and triangle plus how it started as Sai was left helpless.....till end when she achieved her dreams....and in process jodi developed.... definitely Kaku JT PL were iconic.....and the stories they picked for family members.....

I have said this in the start only trp kabhi 2 aadmiyon ke bich ek ladki ko nhi dekhengi....if it was like Virat type multiple shades wala having a crush on a singer or dancer and then from that moh maya he would have moved on for a woman like Neil who is a perfect wife material toh kya hi din hote ghum ke....and haan drama toh chahiye....

Pakhi 2.0 infact more because he is a guy she was toh limited to gharelu dramas this man can go on next level for toxicity....

Ghum will be in a safe spot even if it touches 1.8-1.9. 1.4 is too less

@bold Agree to everything. This Bengali show ain't it for the Ghum audience. Trp viewers never vibe with two guys fighting over one girl—they prefer the other way around, two women fighting for one man. They like a bold, outspoken FL, not a passive one. This season's characters are bland. Yeah, Neil's character is decent good guy , but he's got no layers—just a goody-two-shoes. Trp aunties wanna see a toxic ML and an FL fighting him, that's their thing. Sitara already told Ghum makers to change the OG story—the pacing is way too slow. They gotta make a ton of changes before they even dream of hitting a 2 trp

I do think so trp likes mahaan FLs too, not brats haan thori bold not weak....and they can also adjust without a toxic ML.....grey chalega even FLs aren't dudh ki dhuli they have many flaws in themself..... Baaki I agree.....ghum 1 wasn't Sai centric still it gathered rank against a totally ma based show.....

Anyways, RR is about to become a total villain who is gonna be obsessed with teju. But yes, story is very slow paced even now. They have to rush the marriage track. For now, Neil’s family does not really have any negative characters other than soon to be RR. I suspect his mom will be grey but will eventually turn positive. I also fell Neil’s brother’s wife will add drama, even though for now she’s mostly positive. But it’s very weird right now. There is no outright negative character in Neil’s family LOL and considering this is ITV, that’s weird. 😂😂

I think RR mein kafi potential hai. Bohot kuch karega wo. Abhi se RR ka character mujhe negative vibes de raha hai.

Ikr!! It is a much interesting concept of two guys one girl. And I did say in the beginning of th show ki no one is inherently evil here. Maa bhi lag rha hai out of possesiveness evil banegi. But I really love the actress playing Neil's mom, I hope they don't make me hate her
