My thoughts on the reveal scene are that it was very well emoted. Armaan initially refused to believe what Abhira had told him and of course he did! His whole life has turned upside down. Being told that the mother who's shraadh he's been doing for 30 odd years is alive? Unbelievable stuff. Him thanking Abhira was sweet. Armaan wrapped in Shivani's saree and laying on the ground with his head on Abhira's lap was so sad to see. He was like a child there. And then innocently asking Abhira if she'll take him to meet his Mummy. In between all these heavy emotional scenes, I can understand why shoving the useless Goenka and Abhir-Kiara in there can be very annoying and take away from the impact of the scenes. It was unnecessary. RK-Shivani scenes are still okay because it's still a part of the overall story. However, like you all said, this revelation is much better done than Abhira's IR.

This was a very interesting real-life moment…in the context of saga salutela and all…featuring Sallu bhai, his mother and his ‘aunty’..
