I agree that itv shows make actors famous—that’s just a fact. Personally, I didn’t even know who Bhavika was before Ghum. When I saw the promo, I didn’t like it and even told my mom, “Who tf is girl cast opposite Shakti?” But as Ghum Season 2 progressed, we all started liking her acting, especially since she played Sai’s daughter, and the story was good. The leads’ bickering and all made it interesting.
Same with Samriddhi—I had no idea who she was before rishta, but after the show, everyone knows her. That’s just how it works. I don’t understand why fans treat actors like big celebrities. No actor alone can bring trp ls in itv. Even if they remove all the side characters from upama and only keep Rupali, she alone can’t bring trp.
Villain vamp equally matter even child actors....
Legacy is the only reason Ghum worked otherwise 6months aur itna drama 1st season worked around 3years when it was started in pandemic....and Bhavika had 1M before ghum Samriddhi was just a voice over....
If not of Savi ka dream of becoming an officer like her dad woh bhi nhi chalta....
