I think the expectation of abstinence set in when ani made the claims there was no relationship between him and Arshi. When J asked all those pointy questions - do you love Arshi didi - what she apparently was asking is - have you slept with her? Ani said no emotional no love between them, conveniently (kidding here) left out the physical.

This whole Amar Prem is a eyewash. Both are shameless, and its their own fault - this mess. Yesterday I was so irritated with Choton; but today I am inclined to think Runak deserve this. Both Ani and j have played around with Arshi. Arshi is shameless, zero self respect, selfish fool. That aside - everytime Ani and J prostrated themselves for Arshi - lying, yet cheating all along. During Arshi's aashirwaad - J was clearly jealous, during Ani's mehndi and food ceremony Ani was clearly using Arshi to make J jealous.

If J was well intentioned; she would be hiding in her room just using BH as a sanctuary, not parading out in front of Ani and acting like maid and further saying she loves Ani to all and sundry.

Similarly Ani would avoid J and focus on his wife as much as possible. Both are shameless cheaters who can't be without eo but lack the guts to be together, yet hide under false pretences of propriety.
