Pushpa 1 and 2, Animal, now Chhava. Back to back blockbusters.

Of the handful of Hindi films she’s done, so many are such huge hits. And it’s all so organic because Pushpa series isn’t even originally intended for Bollywood but became the biggest hits in the Hindi belt. (This is not even counting her massive success and popularity of her OG South films).

Her success streak is reminiscent of Katrina’s 2007-08 phase and Deepika’s 2013 phase, during which everything they touched became gold.

She’s still 28 years old. And has a good 7-8 solid years ahead. Can she be the next big thing after Deepika?

Up next for her is Sikander with Salman Khan. Can her success streak finally get Salman some respite after back to back flops?

She’s already topping popularity charts all over. She’s left behind all the nepos like Alia, Ananya, Janhvi, Sara behind. Funnily enough, all the top actresses in the top 5 are outsiders.

Aish might’ve been jobless for a decade, but her PR budget is still working overtime to keep her on these lists. Like, no one, fans or today’s stars, cares about these rankings anymore, it’s giving early 2000s. Kinda makes sense why she’s still on them. Might as well invest in a new PR team at this point.

She definitely is on a dream run. She is a better actor than the nepo brigade, easy on the eyes and dances well…so why not!

About the comparison with Deepika and Katrina, nah, I wouldn’t compare her hype to Deepika in 2013. Deepika actually carried her films back then, headlining most of them despite her flaws. Rashmika’s popularity feels more like Katrina’s, swap her out with literally any other actress, and the movie wouldn’t suffer. Might even get better with a talented one

Last I checked, south India is still very much a part of India. Entire India should be proud of a self made actor’s success, considering how almost impossible it is to break in for an outsider?Why only the South Indians?
