Apparently its to adjust the new dayan show they are launching. SS dude claimed that new shows are given longer duration episodes to establish and to adjust that + the promotion ads for the show, they cut down duration of other shows ke episodes. Seems like a far fetched idea & explanation.

But other shows like upma, uka, jhanak are still airing longer episodes! Wondering why rishta is not in the list!!!
