Problem is when people try to rub their opinions on others by complaining burhan nashwa doesn't deserve the screen space they are getting. There are many other watch worthy scenes for other section of people too. Maybe this evil/gray character clicked with the neutral fans? Nameer's one minute appearance are getting millions of views on sm as clips.

Remember when people enjoyed Ahsan Khan's performance in Udaari as an abuser and that of Faisal Qurishi in khaiee, the abuser of Cheekh with Bilal Abbas? Remember Rubab and Adil overshadowed Mustafa and Sharjeena in KMKT to a certain extent?

Only 14 year old nibbis shipping them and they'll grow out of it hopefully!

I think this is it. Burhan IS a beautifully written ML but the problem is that the role could have been elevated so much more by better casting. Not complaining about Usama - he is doing an okay job - but this is the kind of role better actors literally EAT up and elevate to the max. Bohat zyada potential tha but now we’re getting the basic deal. And then when you compare with the rest of the cast then you get a little annoyed too.

Coming to Nameer, I enjoy his scenes a lot but I am aware of his limitations. Those are obvious as well. The character is intriguing because they’re making an effort to show his humanity too, and the dynamic with Nashwa is interesting, but I wouldn’t say Nameer is a great actor yet. We haven’t seen a lot of range. But is he elevating the role he’s been given? Yes. This is why people are more interested in Ammar’s arc than Burhan’s because Nameer is bringing more to a limited role

I don't think anyone here has said anything to Nameer...in fact have praised him only...ppl are talking about Ammar the character who is criminal and don't want such a character to end up with Nashwa who deserves the best...in fact almost everyone has said they would like to see Nameer with yumna but in another drama not here

Ppl are praising Burhan the character and not necessarily Usama the actor who is doing decent job so assuming ppl liking Usama wherein they are loving the character Burhan and want him to end up Nashwa

I don’t know who will end up with who and I’m just judging based on screen time and dynamics but IF Nashwa is to marry Ammar I think this was very smart casting that was done.

Even if you’re not invested in a pair or aren’t rooting for them because of obvious reasons, their scenes STILL have to connect with the audience. They can’t look forced and there’s this natural back and forth which Yumna Nameer have which makes their scenes interesting rather than disgusting. Which it easily could have been given Ammar’s past actions. You enjoy the dynamic.

So if she’s actually going to be with this criminal character, the casting was done well. Not sure if they did chemistry tests but whatever it was, it worked out well.

And Burhan works too as the love interest who didn’t get the girl. You’re not dying for them to get together or anything - Nashwa could end up alone and the audience would be fine with that - so for the story, it’s good enough.

I want to thanks to all of the yumna fandoms for making QEJ a bi weekly drama and gave ATSH a Tuesday slot also you guys are amazing

Agreed. That's pretty clear. We all are liking Burhan as a character and finding Ammar intriguing. And Nashwa can end up with whoever is the best for her whether it's Burhan or a new character or just be happy by ourselves. Whatever is the best for her!

Appreciating nameer is all ok. Even I too appreciated him. But constantly saying he overshadowed "everyone" in the episode types of statements is really too stretch. This thread sometimes looks like fan page of an actor rather than a platform for show discussion. His fans can make seperate AT for him to discuss his praises.

This subtle shipping of ammar and nashwa is happening here. May be you might not have seen those. When there are nok jok scenes between a alleged rapist and intern, it was enjoyable but when there are scenes of burhan and nashwa, it is unnecessary filler scenes, we want asim bisma, we want court case.

I don't expect anything sane from insta audience as they are teenagers. But expected some kind of maturity here.

Do people even realise what will happen to this show's fate if they whitewash ammar character, it will become another tb where rape is romanticised. Because even if ammar didn't do the act, he spiked that girl's drink with the intention to rape, after her rape he left her to die, blackmailed her later by sending her videos. If they whitewash him, then every character including nashwa will become a joke.

I don't know what to say. Looks like there is parallel show where nashwa not interested in burhan, burhan doesn't like nashwa, ammar is innocent, bisma asim story not getting highlighted.
